Week 16 NFL Pick’em Cheat Sheet
Take a glance at our favorite plays from every game this week. This section features a combination of picks for today’s main slate that you can find on sites like Underdog and Sleeper!
Buffalo Bills vs Cleveland Browns
Pick: Quinshon Judkins > 58.5 Rushing Yards – Bills are allowing the 2nd-highest yards after contact per attempt and 4th-most yards before contact per attempt (via Fantasy Points).
Los Angeles Chargers vs Dallas Cowboys
Pick: George Pickens > 63.5 Receiving Yards – Pickens has been good against zone coverage, and he’s due for a new contract, giving him plenty of motivation to be at his best.
Kansas City Chiefs vs Tennessee Titans
Pick: Tony Pollard > 58.5 Rushing Yards – The Chiefs are banged up with nothing to play for, while the Titans have simplified their run game recently.
Cincinnati Bengals vs Miami Dolphins
Pick: Darren Waller > 27.5 Receiving Yards – Our guy Keith Eyster called this his favorite bet of the day. Cinci has been historically bad against tight ends this year, and Mike McDaniel has been a wizard with all of them over the past few years.
New York Jets vs New Orleans Saints
Pick: Adonai Mitchell > 38.5 Receiving Yards – It hasn’t mattered who’s at QB for the Jets. Mitchell has a big-time air-yard share and target share in the mid-20-percent range.
Minnesota Vikings vs New York Giants
Pick: Jaxson Dart > 30.5 Rushing Yards – Jaxson Dart is going to keep running, but we agreed on the Prime Time Props podcast that it will certainly help that Vikings’ DC Brian Flores loves to blitz.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Carolina Panthers
Pick: Mike Evans Touchdown – Evans was absolutely peppered with targets in his return from injury. He’s the clear red zone threat in a huge NFC South matchup.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Denver Broncos
Pick: Travis Etienne < 62.5 Rushing Yards – The Jags (and Etienne) had a few big games recently, but this Broncos’ defense is a huge step up in competition. Plus, it’s in Denver, and the conditions aren’t warm-team-friendly.
Atlanta Falcons vs Arizona Cardinals
Pick: Jacoby Brissett> 36.5 Passing Yards – This was one of Jeff Edelstein’s favorite plays this week, and it should be, as the Cardinals are passing at the highest neutral rate in the league (via Fantasy Points).
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Detroit Lions
Pick: Amon-Ra St. Brown > 82.5 Receiving Yards – Every snap matters for Detroit right now, and when the Lions need to lean on someone, they turn to ole’ reliable, ARSB. The Steelers are allowing a massive catchable target rate this season.
Las Vegas Raiders vs Houston Texans
Pick: Geno Smith > 31.5 Pass Attempts – It might not be pretty, but this is a huge negative game-script for the Raiders. Look for Geno to air it out in what will likely be one of his final games as a starting quarterback in the league.
