Week 7 Alt Props: MNF
We’ve got two Monday Night Football games on the board for Week 7. Let’s dive in!
Woody Marks Receiving Yards Ladder
Marks is always a risky option, but he’s flashed tremendous upside. He’s recorded 6 receptions for 96 yards and 1 touchdown on 9 targets through five games. He completed this ladder in two of those five games.
The rookie is finding a bigger role as the season progresses. He ran only 10 total routes in his first two games of the season. He’s now averaging 15 routes per game over his last three games.
Marks gets a great matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7. They’re giving up the second-most receiving yards (57.3) per game to opposing running backs. It’s been on volume, as Seattle is also giving up 7.2 receptions on 8.5 targets to RBs this season.
The Seahawks are susceptible to receiving backs because of their ability to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks. They aren’t blitzing, but they’re getting elite pressure, which results in checkdowns. The Houston Texans feature one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL, meaning they’re going to have to get the ball out quickly.
Marks has taken over the majority of the passing work from Nick Chubb, and he should be the receiving back throughout this game. I expect more volume from their backs in this game, and we’re getting a low total for Marks’ receiving yards.
Where to Bet: Woody Marks 15+ receiving yards (-114) through 30+ receiving yards (+280) | Ladder at FanDuel Sportsbook
Jameson Williams Receiving Yards Ladder
Williams continues to be a high-upside, inconsistent option in the Detroit Lions offense. He’s recorded 17 receptions for 289 yards and 2 touchdowns on 27 targets this season. He topped out with 108 yards against the Chicago Bears in Week 2.
The key here is the type of targets and big-play ability Williams has. He’s posted at least one 20+ yard reception in four of his six games. He’s also left a ton of yards on the field, as he’s connected on only 2 of his 8 targets of 20+ air yards.
Williams is a rare player who sees an elite combination of air yards and potential YAC. He boasts a 16.8 aDOT, finding 78 air yards per game. He’s also averaging 7.5 YAC per reception this season.
The young receiver gets an interesting matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. They’re giving up the 11th-most receiving yards (151.5) per game to opposing receivers this season. Receivers are averaging nearly 13 yards per reception against the Bucs this season.
The other key here is that this game should be relatively close throughout. The Lions have played in a few blowouts this season, which limits their receivers. This game should feature a ton of points, and both teams should be throwing throughout.
Williams is the type of receiver who can complete most of this ladder with one reception, and I expect the Lions’ receivers to find plenty of success this week.
Where to Bet: Jameson Williams 50+ receiving yards (-106) through 100+ receiving yards (+580) | Ladder at FanDuel Sportsbook
