Monday’s Best Bets netted yet another positive result, going 2-for-3 on the night. Perhaps this is the oven preheating for March Madness? We certainly hope so!

Speaking of March Madness, The Bostonian vs. The Book found a tasty betting appetizer among the two Tuesday’s First Four NCAA Tournament contests.

Pair that with BetPrep’s Prop of the Day, and you have a solid betting combination that goes together like chips and salsa.

Metaphorically speaking, we hope the chips are perfectly crispy and the salsa is fresh. Translation: We hope Tuesday’s Best Bets are winners.

Let’s dig in!

The bet: Indiana -4 (vs. Wyoming)
The odds: -110
Where to bet: DraftKings
From: Matt Perrault via The Bostonian Vs. The Book Podcast

Matt Perrault of The Bostonian vs. The Book Podcast enjoyed an easy cover Monday, as the Raptors (-5) raced out to an insane 30-6 first-quarter lead at the Lakers and coasted to a 114-103 victory. Now, Perrault turns his attention to one of the First Four matchups, backing Indiana -4 against Wyoming. Here’s what he had to say about Tuesday’s best bet:

“Indiana is the hotter team. Indiana is the more athletic team.” Perrault said. “I think Wyoming is a bunch of stiffs. I’m sorry, I know they have [Hunter] Maldonado and a big, but that’s about it. I love Indiana here.”

Dave Sharapan, co-host of the podcast, mentioned that he’s noticed plenty of betting support for the Hoosiers.

“I haven’t seen anyone on Wyoming,” Sharapan said. “I think [the spread] is going to go up more.”

Sharapan might be on to something, as DraftKings reported 82% of tickets and 85% of the money on Indiana as of Tuesday afternoon.

You can still find Indiana -4 on DraftKings’ odds board as of 3 pm ET, but as Sharapan noted, that number likely will rise as we move closer to tip-off.

Perrault listed one other bet he likes during Tuesday’s Bostonian vs. The Book podcast — another college basketball side. You can listen to the replay on Youtube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts.

The bet: Under 11.5 rebounds (at Orlando)
The odds: -120
Where to bet: Caesars Sportsbook
From: BetPrep Prop of the day via BetPrep.com

The BetPrep crew dropped their Monday selection of Harrison Barnes Over 16.5 points. They’ll look to rebound Tuesday — and almost literally, as they’re taking Nets center Andre Drummond Under 11.5 rebounds.

Here’s the rationale behind this BetPrep best bet:

  • Drummond has corraled 12-plus rebounds just four times in his last 40 games
  • With his team favored, Drummond has grabbed 12+ rebounds once in his last 26 games (Brooklyn is laying 10 points Tuesday at the Magic)
  • In 11 games since joining the Nets, Drummond is averaging 9.3 rebounds

Still not convinced? Maybe this stat will do the trick: Drummond is averaging only 21 minutes per contest over his last five games. Translation: The veteran would need outstanding efficiency in the rebounding department to clear Over 11.5 boards. Hence the reason the BetPrep folks feel confident in the Under for this NBA prop.

You can find Drummond Under 11.5 rebounds at -120 odds at Caesars Sportsbook.
