There’s a sizable edge when it comes to betting on college basketball player props. With so many NCAA basketball teams to cover, operators are more likely to offer exploitable numbers compared to popular markets like NBA player props.

You better believe we’ll go hard in the paint with college basketball picks for conference tournaments and March Madness as well!
With that, let’s dive into our best college basketball player props today while letting you know where these numbers are available.
College Basketball Player Props Today: Thursday, Mar. 27 (Sweet Sixteen)
Justin Bales runs through his favorite NCAAB player props throughout the college basketball regular season and March Madness.
JT Toppin Higher Than 29.5 PR
Toppin continues to prove that he’s one of the best players in the NCAA. He’s averaging 18.1 points on 13.0 FGA, 1.6 3PA, and 4.2 FTA in only 26.8 minutes per game. He’s also averaging 9.3 rebounds in that time.
We’re in the NCAA Tournament, specifically the Sweet Sixteen round, meaning Toppin will be locked into bigger minutes. He’s played 32 and 31 minutes in his first two games of the tournament. He ended those games with 37 and 23 PR.
This round, Toppin gets an interesting matchup against the Arkansas Razorbacks. They love pushing the pace in their games but feature a solid defense. Arkansas doesn’t struggle with any particular aspect of defense, allowing points at all levels.
The Razorbacks struggled against Zuby Ejiofor in their last game, allowing 23 points and 12 rebounds in 37 minutes. He’s also seen mixed results against other centers. Hunter Dickinson (11/9), Malik Dia (19/8), and Collin Murray-Boyles (20/12) are the other three centers Arkansas has faced in the NCAA and SEC Tournaments.
Toppin will be one of the best big men Arkansas’ faced this season, and he boasts 40-point and 20-rebound upside. The biggest concern is how versatile this Texas Tech offense is. If Arkansas packs the paint and allows them to shoot threes, they’re a team willing to do that.
Texas Tech is expected to run through Toppin if that’s available, though, and it should be because of his way of playing. He should see plenty of attempts throughout this game, and he boasts elite scoring and rebounding potential.

Keba Keita Higher Than 16.5 PR
Keita is one of the more interesting centers left in the tournament at this point. On the season, he’s averaging 7.3 points on only 4.8 FGA and 2.1 FTA in 20.7 minutes per game. He’s also averaging 7.9 rebounds in those games.
Keita’s essentially split minutes with Fousseyni Traore throughout the season, but that hasn’t been the case recently. He’s averaging 23.8 minutes per game over his last six games (one 2OT game). He’s recorded 22+ minutes in all but one of those games, including a 28-minute performance in double OT against Iowa State.
Keita boasts solid scoring upside for this number. He recently posted 14 points in 22 minutes against the Houston Cougars. He also boasts elite rebound upside, recording 15 rebounds in 28 minutes against the Iowa State Cyclones.
Keita gets a plus matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide. They force their opponents to beat them at the rim, and they’re a team willing to foul. Here’s how centers have performed against Alabama in recent games:
- Henry Wessels – 12 points, 8 rebounds (23 minutes)
- Mitchell Saxen – 15, 5 (39)
- Alvaro Fogueiras – 15, 10 (34)
- Amari Williams – 16, 7 (28)
- Johni Broome – 34, 8 (43)
Keita isn’t going to play major minutes, but he’ll likely see 20-25 in this game. He’s an athletic big, who can play with the pace Alabama is going to run. He comes with elite rebounding upside and the ability to double-double.
This is a bit too low of a total for Keita’s new role in the rotation.
