There’s a sizable edge when it comes to betting on college basketball player props. With so many NCAA basketball teams to cover, operators are more likely to offer exploitable numbers compared to popular markets like NBA player props.

In this article, we’ll attempt to uncover those hidden gems by listing our best college basketball player props today — for nearly every slate of the college hoops season. You better believe we’ll go hard in the paint with college basketball picks for conference tournaments and March Madness as well!

With that, let’s dive into our best college basketball player props today while letting you know where these numbers are available.

College Basketball Player Props Today: Saturday, Mar. 29 (Elite Eight)

Justin Bales runs through his favorite NCAAB player props throughout the college basketball regular season and March Madness.

Cooper Flagg Higher Than 33.5 PR

Flagg’s been unbelievable throughout his freshman season for the Duke Blue Devils. He’s averaging 19.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in 30.3 minutes per game. It’s important to note that he also saw 15 and 22 minutes in two games because of an injury.

Flagg had a “slow” start to his NCAA Tournament, but he wasn’t really needed in two blowouts. Although I’m referring to those games as “slow,” he posted 21 and 27 PR in 22 and 29 minutes against Mount St. Mary’s and Baylor. He was needed against Arizona, posting 36 PR in 36 minutes.

Flagg gets a great matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide tonight. They lead the NCAA in pace, and they aren’t a defense I’m overly concerned about. Most importantly, they allow players to score at the rim, and they’re willing to foul.

Flagg’s good enough to score from anywhere on the floor, but he’s at his best when he’s attacking. He’s outstanding at drawing fouls, and he’s shooting 83.2% from the line on the season. These will be free points, but he should also see plenty of looks at the rim.

Flagg is also an outstanding rebounder, and we’ve consistently seen Alabama struggle against rebounders. His athleticism will allow him to run with the pace of Bama, giving him plenty of opportunities to find points and rebounds.

JT Toppin Higher Than 32.5 PRA

We’re at the point where teams are heavily relying on their best players, and that’s Toppin for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. He’s averaging 18.2 points in 27.1 minutes per game this season. He’s also averaging 9.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.

Toppin started the tournament with 12 points and 11 rebounds against UNC Wilmington, but Texas Tech was shooting at an elite level from deep. He’s followed that game up with 45 points and 22 rebounds against Drake and Arkansas.

Toppin gets an interesting matchup against the Florida Gators. They feature an outstanding defense, but they do play at a fast pace. The Gators can also be beaten inside and with free throws.

Toppin is an elite rebounder, and he does nearly all of his work inside. We’ve seen Florida struggle against some bigs throughout the season, and here are some recent games against them:

  • Julian Reese – 10 points, 8 rebounds (33 minutes)
  • Derik Queen – 27, 5 (34)
  • Samson Johnson – 10, 10 (24)
  • Tarris Reed – 5, 8 (16)

Those were their only two competitive games in the NCAA Tournament. It’s clear that Florida is susceptible to big men, and Toppin is one of the most talented they will face.

Texas Tech is likely to run its offense through Toppin, making him an elite option.
