Jordan Hawkins Higher Than 20.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (1.0x)
It has been the season from hell for the Pelicans. They have dealt with a myriad of injuries all year, and they very rarely had their entire lineup available at the same time. They ultimately decided to pull the plug and trade away Brandon Ingram at the deadline, and they’re merely playing for draft position at this point. They’re currently sitting with the fourth-worst record in the NBA, which would give them a 12.5% chance at the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
The Pelicans are going to be without most of their remaining top players on Friday. Zion Williamson, C.J. McCollum, and Trey Murphy will join Dejounte Murray on the sidelines, leaving the team without their top four scorers. That’s going to create a massive void on offense.
Hawkins should be tasked with picking up the slack. With all four players and Ingram off the floor this season, Hawkins has seen a team-high +11.21% bump to his usage rate. He’s also increased his assist rate by +6.04%, so he’s been far more involved overall. Hawkins has averaged 22.01 points, 4.19 rebounds, and 2.72 assists per 36 minutes in that split, so he has the potential for a big showing vs. the Warriors. Hawkins scored 25 points just two games ago, so this is well within his range of outcomes.

Ivica Zubac Higher Than 22.5 Points (2.6x)
Zubac has had the best season of his career in 2024-25. The Clippers needed someone to pick up the slack with Paul George gone and Kawhi Leonard missing most of the early season, and Zubac has done exactly that. He’s turned into a double-double machine, averaging a career-best 16.4 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.
Zubac hasn’t done quite as much scoring of late, which makes sense with Leonard back in the fold. However, he still has the potential to pop for a big game from time to time. He had 28 points vs. the Cavaliers last week, and he’s had at least 26 points in two of his past seven outings.
Zubac draws an excellent matchup Friday vs. the Nets. Brooklyn isn’t a great defensive team, and they’ve been shredded on the interior of late. They’ve allowed an average of 58.7 points in the paint over their past three outings, so Zubac has a solid ceiling in this contest.
