Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Preview
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will continue to see elite usage as the team’s star. Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams will fill out the “Big 3” for this team, and they’ll also play massive roles in the rotation. Ajay Mitchell and Cason Wallace will see limited usage, but they will see minutes.
We should also see limited roles from Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe, Kenrich Williams, and Jaylin Williams.
Golden State Warriors Betting Preview
If Butler is able to suit up, he’ll play a massive role in the Golden State offense. Draymond Green and Brandin Podziemski are also expected to see solid minutes, although both tend to act more as facilitators than scorers. Moses Moody should find plenty of minutes in this game, and he’ll see a bump if Butler is out.
The rest of the team is expected to be relatively limited. Jonathan Kuminga is the clear option to take over, but he’s on a minutes restriction at the moment. Quinten Post, Buddy Hield, Gary Payton, and Will Richard are all expected to find ~20 minutes in this game as well.
Thunder vs Warriors Props and Picks Today
There are plenty of Oklahoma City vs Golden State player props to choose from on Underdog for Tuesday night’s slate of games. Let’s dive into the Thunder vs Warriors predictions!
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Player Props – Higher Than 31.5 Points
Gilgeous-Alexander continues to be an elite scorer for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He’s averaging 32.5 points in 33.5 minutes per game. He’s also averaging 19.7 FGA, 5.1 3PA, and 10.1 FTA per game.
SGA gets a plus matchup against the Golden State Warriors. They aren’t a terrible defense by any stretch, but I’m also not concerned about their defense in this matchup. The blowout is a bigger concern.
Chet Holmgren Player Props – Higher Than 27.5 PRA
Holmgren is enjoying a solid season for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He’s averaging 18.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 29.6 minutes per game. He’s only played two games without Isaiah Hartenstein, averaging 30.5 PRA per game.
Most importantly, Holmgren gets a great matchup against the Golden State Warriors. They’ve struggled against centers this game, and the young big man will slide to play the majority of his minutes at the 5 tonight. The Warriors are giving up 44 PRA per game to opposing centers.
Moses Moody Player Props – Higher Than 12.5 Points
Moody has looked better for the Golden State Warriors this season. He’s played in five games without Stephen Curry, averaging 12.6 points in 28.7 minutes per game. More importantly, he’s averaging 11.8 FGA, 7.8 3PA, and 2.0 FTA per game.
This isn’t an ideal matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, as they feature an elite defense. Jimmy Butler is currently questionable, though, and Moody will gain tons of value if he’s out. I do believe this is a solid number, even if he’s playing.
