Top Targets
A quick overview of our top player picks for the upcoming slate
Morgan Rogers – The Villans face a tricky home test against Nottingham Forest to kick off Saturday’s action. Within this match, we like Rogers the most, as he’s been rounding into top form lately.
The direct attacking midfielder has been instrumental in Villa’s recent success, and he’s totaled seven goals and three assists in 19 EPL appearances overall.
Also consider:
Georginio Rutter > 0.5 Goals
Good luck!

Hugo Ekitike – With Mohamed Salah on international duty and Alexander Isak injured long-term, Ekitike figures to keep starting up front for Liverpool. He’s been on a great run of form, having totaled five goals and an assist over his last four EPL appearances.
We should also see the return of Dominik Szoboszlai after he served his one-match suspension. The midfielder has been a DFS beast for the Reds this season, regardless of which position he’s played.
Florian Wirtz has been playing some of his best soccer in a Liverpool kit lately, so he’s another player we’ll have interest in on Thursday.
Yeremy Pino – Pino is still adjusting to life in the EPL after his move from La Liga, but the early signs are promising. He’s been Crystal Palace’s most dangerous player going forward in recent weeks ahead of this home encounter with Fulham.
Ismaila Sarr, Eddie Nketiah, Daniel Munoz and Daichi Kamada are all out for the Eagles, so we’re likely to see Pino play a featured attacking role. He’s averaging 4.29 shot-creating actions per 90 in the EPL so far.
Rayan Cherki – Erling Haaland and Phil Foden are obviously in play too, but don’t forget about Cherki. He’s become a mainstay in City’s starting 11 because of his dominant individual performances, and he has a great chance of at least one goal/assist today.
Cherki has two goals and seven assists in 13 EPL matches already, with only eight of those being starts. He’s averaging an impressive 6.73 shot-creating actions per 90 minutes, second-most in the Premier League (Football Reference).

- Bradley Barcola (5.25)
- Dodi Lukebakio (4.92)
- Achraf Hakimi (4.87)
Top Targets
A quick overview of our top player picks for the upcoming slate
Nicolas Pepe > 0.5 Goals + Assists – Pepe sticks out in the two-game early slate. Villarreal will be at home to Copenhagen and is a firm favorite in the odds.
Pepe is a direct and dangerous player who is averaging 5.22 shot-creating actions per 90 minutes in La Liga play so far this season. That’s easily the most within the Villarreal squad and the 10th-most in the league.
Juventus Attack – We’ll be eagerly awaiting Juventus’ starting lineup for this favorable matchup. Dusan Vlahovic is injured. Jonathan David and Kenan Yildiz would be our preferred targets, if they make the team.
Serhou Guirassy – This is a great team situation for Dortmund at home to a less talented side, and Guirassy has been highly effective leading the line for the club in recent seasons. He should be able to score at least one goal, and if you want to take a bigger chance, consider backing him to net two or more.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia & Bradley Barcola – PSG is without Ousmane Dembele and Achraf Hakimi, among others, yet is still favored away to Ath Bilbao. We have interest in both Kvaratskhelia and Barcola, even in what should be a hostile environment, as they’re both been creating a lot of chances going forward.
Post-Lineups Update
We recommend waiting until starting 11s are released before finalizing picks. Check back to this space later for updated plays and analysis.
Serhou Guirassy is not starting. Other than that, no updates.

A quick overview of our top player picks for the upcoming slate
Harry Kane & Michael Olise – Young starlet Lennart Karl also stands out and is likely to go more under-the-radar (if he picks up the start), but it’s hard to ignore the output Kane and Olise have been producing for Bayern.
Kane has 17 goals and three assists in 20 Bundesliga matches and Olise has recorded six goals and eight assists in 13 appearances. Kane is already up to five goals in five UCL games, with Olise at three goal contributions (one goal, two assists).
Raphinha & Lamine Yamal – Another dynamic duo. Along with Robert Lewandowski, we can feel great about liberally targeting Barcelona playmakers Lamine Yamal and Raphinha. Though the competition isn’t a walkover, the Catalan outfit is the biggest favorite on this slate at home versus Eintracht Frankfurt.
Raphinha (four goals, three assists in seven La Liga matches) recently returned from injury and continues to cause havoc offensively. Ditto for Yamal, who’s notched six goals and seven assists in 12 La Liga matches and two goals and one assist in four UCL games. The dominant Spaniard is averaging 6.49 shot-creating actions per 90 minutes in Europe so far this term (Football Reference).
Richarlison – Assuming he gets the start up front, Richarlison is interesting in a home spot against Slavia Prague. He found the back of the net in the EPL over the weekend and showed great chemistry with Xavi Simons, who had his best performance in a Spurs kit.
Simons is also intriguing, as he seems to be getting more and more comfortable in his new surroundings. There’s a good chance he’ll miss out on the starting 11, though, so that’s something we’ll have to monitor.
Post-Lineups Update
We recommend waiting until starting 11s are released before finalizing picks. Check back to this space later for updated plays and analysis.
No updates today. All mentioned players are in the starting 11.

Soccer Props & Betting Strategy Tip: Understanding Odds
Just like in other sports, it’s important to understand the macro game environment in soccer. If a team is heavily favored, such as Manchester City against a weak Premier League opponent, that squad is likely to control possession and create a lot more scoring chances.
Understanding team dynamics and who will be in the best opportunities to succeed and fall short of the mark will help you narrow down your favorite soccer props and betting picks.
