Round Robin betting is a safer way of betting parlays while keeping some upside. It involves selecting three or more single wagers to create a combination of parlays. You put a specific amount of money on each parlay, limiting both overall risk and upside.

We’ll have one NBA and one NFL round robin bet lined up every week, so make sure to check back to this page for any updates.

Best Round Robin Bets Today – NFL Week 16 Bets

Here are four total bets with analysis to use in the round robin format.

MORE PROPS: NFL | NBA | NHL | PGA | CFB

Jahmyr Gibbs 90+ Rushing Yards (-125)

Gibbs is enjoying an elite season for the Detroit Lions. He boasts 1,047 yards and 11 touchdowns on only 186 carries in 2024. He’s only recorded 90 rushing yards in 3 of his 14 games, though.

Gibbs splits time with David Montgomery, who was injured last week. The young running back has seen 20+ carries in only two games throughout his career, recording 90 and 152 rushing yards. He doesn’t need a massive workload to break this number, but he’ll be more of a workhorse this week without Montgomery.

Gibbs also gets an elite matchup against the Chicago Bears. The Bears are giving up the second-most rushing yards (115.6) per game to opposing running backs. They’re also allowing 4.9 yards per carry this season.

This is a high number for Gibbs in general, but it’s far too low for his new role without Montgomery.

Cooper Rush 2+ Passing Touchdowns (+150)

Rush quietly looks like a decent NFL quarterback. He’s thrown for 1,405 yards with 10 touchdowns and 3 interceptions thus far. He’s also thrown for 2+ touchdowns in three of his last four games.

Rush gets a good matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. They’ve struggled to defend the pass, and they’re allowing 1.6 passing touchdowns per game. Dallas should also be throwing throughout this game, giving Rush more opportunities.

I don’t necessarily love Rush as a quarterback, but he’s performed well in good matchups. Tampa Bay should have a healthy lead this week, and Rush can grab some late-game stats here. Simply put, we’re getting too good of odds on this number.

Drake Maye 200+ Passing Yards (-120)

This is an extremely weird number for Maye. He’s thrown well this season, posting 1,898 yards with 12 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. He’s recorded 200+ passing yards in seven of his nine starts (he was injured in one).

Maye gets a tough matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Although they’re good, the Bills are giving up the eighth-most passing yards (243.1) per game to opposing quarterbacks. It’s because they’re constantly winning games by a wide margin.

This is going to be the case again this week. The New England Patriots should be losing this game early on, and Maye should see plenty of pass attempts. It’s too low of a threshold for a number the rookie has consistently hit in 2024.

Brenton Strange 40+ Receiving Yards (-105)

Strange has seen mixed results for the Jacksonville Jaguars this season. He’s recorded 34 receptions for 329 yards and 2 touchdowns on 45 targets. He’s also coming off of his best game of the season, posting 11 receptions for 73 yards on 12 targets against the New York Jets.

Strange gets an elite matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders this week. They’re allowing the fourth-most receiving yards (65.6) per game to opposing tight ends. The Raiders are also giving up 5.9 receptions on 7.7 targets per game to the position.

Strange certainly comes with risk, but he should see plenty of snaps with Evan Engram injured. He’s seen 5+ targets in four games this season, posting 59+ receiving yards in three of them. He should see plenty of opportunities in an elite matchup this week as well.

What Is Round Robin Betting?

Let’s break down Round Robin betting with an example. For this example, we’ll assume there are four bets, which will be labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4.

There are 11 total combinations of parlays that you would run. Here they are:

  • 1 & 2
  • 1 & 3
  • 1 & 4
  • 2 & 3
  • 2 & 4
  • 3 & 4
  • 1, 2, & 3
  • 1, 2 & 4
  • 1, 3, & 4
  • 2, 3, & 4
  • 1, 2, 3, & 4

You’ll bet on each of these combinations. For example, if you want $10 per bet, you’ll bet $110 total. You can win each of the 11 bets with differing payouts as well.

For example, if you win bets 1, 2, and 3, here are the individual parlays you’d cash:

  • 1 & 2
  • 1 & 3
  • 2 & 3
  • 1, 2, & 3

You cash all 11 bets if you sweep your card. This is a way to limit risks on a parlay, although it does also limit your overall possible payout compared to a normal parlay.

If you bet $110 on this combination of parlays (at -110 odds each), you would receive $630 if you sweep the card. If you solely bet the 4-leg parlay, you’d win $1,461.50.

The difference is you can win money back on Round Robin betting, while parlay betting is all-or-nothing.
