PSG vs. Inter Milan 2025 odds and expert bets
Let’s check out soccer betting expert Eduardo Solano’s analysis of Saturday’s highly-anticipated match inside Allianz Arena.
Paris Saint-Germain vs. Inter Milan
Paris Saint-Germain clashes with Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. Current odds show Inter at +225 on the moneyline and PSG at +120.
It will be a battle of two teams few predicted to get there, but there’s money to be made, so let’s go over our favorite picks.
This UEFA Champions League Final is set to unfold with two very distinct tactical approaches. Paris Saint-Germain will dominate the ball and look to create chances through sustained possession. Inter Milan will rely on the same disciplined counterattack that has brought them success throughout the tournament.
PSG have been a possession-heavy team all season, regularly controlling the tempo. One of their more balanced matches came in the second leg of the Round of 16 against Liverpool, where they still claimed 54% possession at Anfield.
A similar pattern emerged in the semifinals against Arsenal. Even though PSG entered the second leg with an early lead and thus adjusted their tempo, they still posted 52% possession at the Emirates after scoring in the fourth minute of the first leg. Arsenal had the edge in the second leg, but that was more a function of PSG being ahead by two early goals.
On the other hand, Inter Milan has consistently played without the ball. In the quarterfinals against Bayern Munich and the semifinals against FC Barcelona, they never exceeded 42% possession. Against FC Barcelona, whose possession profile mirrors PSG’s, they didn’t even crack 30% in either leg.
That trend should hold again, giving PSG a significant edge in time on the ball and likely shot volume. From a betting perspective, this tactical split offers clarity: PSG’s territorial dominance, especially in the attacking third, should translate into more chances and higher shot totals.
Paris Saint-Germain won the Ligue 1 comfortably while Inter Milan finished second in the Serie A, just one point behind Napoli.
Inter Milan went neck-and-neck with Napoli, but they had a costly 2-2 home draw against Lazio on Matchday 37 on May 18, which prevented them from surpassing Napoli in the standings. Both teams won on Matchday 38 to end the season.
Inter Milan also failed to win the Coppa Italia, so this is their only chance to win a trophy this season, which gives them more urgency, but PSG has never won the UEFA Champions League.
Ousmane Dembélé enters the UEFA Champions League Final in peak form, making him a prime candidate to score. With eight goals and four assists in 14 UEFA Champions League matches, he’s been PSG’s most dangerous weapon in Europe. His Ligue 1 output (21 goals and six assists in 29 matches) highlights just how explosive he’s been all season.
In a game where PSG is expected to dominate possession and generate more attacking sequences, Dembélé’s pace, positioning, and ability to cut in from wide areas make him a constant threat, especially against a deep-sitting Inter Milan backline that will have to deal with relentless waves of pressure.
On the other side, Lautaro Martínez remains Inter Milan’s biggest goal threat despite recent fitness concerns. Martínez suffered a thigh injury in the first leg of the semifinals against FC Barcelona on April 30. He played in the second leg and scored an important goal in the first half on May 6.
Although Martínez missed the last four Serie A matches, his nine goals in 13 UEFA Champions League matches this season speak volumes. Even if Inter Milan spends most of the match defending, their counterattacking strategy will naturally flow through him. With his ability to finish in tight spaces and capitalize on limited touches, expect him to register at least one shot on target as Inter Milan looks for moments to break PSG’s high line.
