We have gone 10-2 in these College Football Player Props over the last two weeks, so let’s keep the momentum going. As usual, we will turn to PrizePicks for these listings.
PrizePicks is technically a fantasy sports site, although they allow you to wager on a series of prop bets within their platform. They are legal in 30 states as well, including some places that don’t allow sports betting at the moment.

With that, let’s get to the best props!
QB Henry Colombi – Texas Tech OVER 252.5 Passing Yards
Colombi came through for us by topping 232 passing yards in Week 5. In fact, the Texas Tech QB has surpassed this 252 yard total in all but one game this season. That came last week in a 41-14 victory over Kansas. The Red Raiders didn’t need to throw the ball much in that contest.
Things should be different in a tight contest against Kansas State this weekend. Texas Tech is favored by one point, and this could be a back-and-forth affair. Expect Colombi to have plenty of passing attempts to sail over this total.
Finally, the matchup looks good. Here’s what Kansas State looks like in terms of pass defense:
- 97th in yards per pass attempt
- 105th in opponent passer rating
The Wildcats allowed Brock Purdy to complete 22-of-25 passes last week. Several weeks before that, shaky Oklahoma State QB Spencer Sanders threw for 344 yards. Yes, Kansas State is generous to opposing signal-callers.
Add it all up, and Colombi seems like a safe choice to surpass this total.
RB Evan Hull – Northwestern: UNDER 12.0 Fantasy Points
This is another prop pick that looks fantastic on paper. To illustrate that point, let’s take a look at Hull’s game log this season:
- 14.0 FP vs Michigan St.
- 27.6 FP vs Indiana St.
- 11.7 FP at Duke
- 36.6 FP vs Ohio
- 7.2 FP at Nebraska
- 7.5 FP vs Rutgers
As you can see, Hull has topped 12 fantasy points in three of six games this season. Two of those came in blowout wins against smaller schools. He snuck over the total thanks to 9.7 yards per carry and 7.7 yards per reception against Michigan State.
None of those factors will be in play this Saturday.
Northwestern checks in as a 21-point underdog against Michigan. The Wolverines rank in the top 20% in terms of overall rushing defense and yards per carry allowed. Michigan has a scary-good defensive line that should bottle up Hull in this contest.
I’m not expecting Hull to see many carries either, as game flow suggests Northwestern will be passing more than usual. Take the under with confidence.
QB Jack Tuttle – Indiana: OVER 157.5 Passing Yards
This is not an exciting pick, but it should get the job done.
Indiana QB Michael Penix is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury. Jack Tuttle started for him last week against Michigan State, throwing for 188 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions.
Admittedly, this is a tough spot for Tuttle, who is facing a good Ohio State team in primetime on ABC. However, I believe the junior QB can beat this passing yard prop on volume alone.
In his last two starts, Tuttle has thrown the ball 45 and 52 times. The efficiency hasn’t been great, but he has racked up 201 and 188 yards respectively in those contests. The Hoosiers will need to enact a pass-happy approach in order to keep pace with Ohio State.
On top of game flow, there’s some optimism with this matchup. Ohio State ranks 96th in opponent pass yards this season. There’s a scenario where Tuttle jumps over the 157.5 passing yard threshold in garbage time. I’m more than fine with that.
More College Football Player Props
Ty Fryfogle (WR – IND) OVER 5 Receptions. This is starting to become a staple of this article. As mentioned earlier, Indiana will be throwing early and often against Ohio State. Fryfogle should see double-digit targets to breeze over this reception total.
Jaray Jenkins (WR – LSU) OVER 9.5 Fantasy Points. LSU WR Kayshoun Boutte is out for the season. Jenkins stepped up in his absence for a sweet 4-50-3 line against Florida last week. There’s a good chance Jenkins will continue to impress in a shootout with Ole Miss.
Matt Corral (QB – MISS) UNDER 35.5 Fantasy Points. Corral is questionable for this matchup with LSU. If he plays, there’s a good chance they’ll encourage him to run the ball less, which will limit his fantasy upside. This is a heavy fantasy total for a QB who is far less than 100%.
Will Rogers (QB – MSST) OVER 2.5 Pass TDs. This is one of the easiest matchups Mississippi State has seen this season. Remember, Miss State doesn’t run the ball…not even around the goal-line. The Bulldogs are projected to score five touchdowns in this contest. I would be shocked if Rogers doesn’t throw for at least three of those.
