NFL Week 3 odds are on the board and seeing plenty of interesting action. Seven teams are unbeaten thus far and looking to remain so, including the defending Super Bowl champions.
Getting to 3-0 could prove challenging for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who head west for an NFC showdown with a fellow unbeaten, the Los Angeles Rams.

Eagles at Cowboys
Opening line: Cowboys -4, Over/Under 52
UPDATE 5 P.M. ET MONDAY: With three-plus hours until kickoff, WynnBet has Dallas as a 3.5-point favorite, with ticket count and money both close to 3/1 on the Cowboys. And Philly is shaping up to be a noteworthy need in many ways.
“We need the Eagles in every direction. We have a lot of moneyline parlays riding on Dallas,” WynnBet senior trader Grant Tucker said. “The public is on the Cowboys, but we actually had a respected group lay -3.5 on them at open. That kept us at -3.5 (-110), rather than the -105 that you might have seen at some other shops.”
WynnBet has the total at 51.5 on two-way action, with 54% of tickets/55% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 9 P.M. ET FRIDAY: In the Week 3 Monday nighter, Dallas bounced between -4 and -3.5 a couple of times this week at Caesars Sportsbook and has been at the lower number since Thursday evening. The Cowboys are nabbing 70% of tickets, while the Eagles are taking 62% of money.
UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Dallas went up as a 4-point favorite at DrafKings and made a couple of trips to -3.5 before sticking at the lower number since late Tuesday night/early today. The modest dip comes despite tickets and money running 2/1-plus on the Cowboys.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Week 3 Monday nighter is an NFC East clash, with Dallas finally playing its home opener after splitting two tough road contests to open the season.
“So far, it seems clear these two teams are a cut above Washington and the Giants in the NFC East. Dallas could easily be 2-0, despite starting at Tampa Bay and at the Los Angeles Chargers. Pretty impressive,” Murray said. “We opened Dallas -4 and quickly took a $4,000 bet on the Cowboys, followed by another $2,000 on Dallas. We are holding firm at -4 for now. This should be one of the most heavily bet MNF games of the season.”
While the Cowboys (1-1, 2-0 ATS) went to L.A. and upset the Chargers on a last-second field goal, the Eagles (1-1, 1-1 ATS) lost 17-11 to San Francisco as a 3-point home dog.
Buccaneers at Rams
Opening line: Rams -2.5, Over/Under 52.5
UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: This big NFC matchup went from Rams -2 to pick ’em by Monday afternoon at Caesars Sportsbook, then completed the fence jump by lunch hour Tuesday, going to Buccaneers -1. Tampa Bay peaked at -1.5 and returned to -1 this morning, and the Bucs are landing 68% of spread bets and 62% of spread money. The total moved from 53 to 55.5, with 81% of bets/88% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 9 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Caesars Sportsbook posted Los Angeles as a 2-point favorite, backed up to -1 within a few hours Sunday night, then flipped to Tampa Bay -1 by Tuesday. The Buccaneers remain -1 and are attracting 72% of tickets and money. The total is on the move, as well, jumping from 53 to 55.5 by Thursday morning.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Los Angeles opened -1.5 Sunday night at DraftKings, and by Tuesday afternoon, the number jumped the fence to Tampa Bay -1. The Bucs are now -1.5 while running away with early tickets and money, running 5/1 and 4/1, respectively. The total went from 52 to 54.5 in a hurry, peaked at 55.5 Tuesday and is now 55, with 81% of tickets/87% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: It didn’t take long at all for this marquee matchup to generate action and movement at The SuperBook.
“This one has seen the most betting interest so far and will be one of the most heavily bet non-prime-time games of the NFL season,” Murray said Sunday night. “We opened Rams -2.5 and took a flood of money on the Bucs, and are now down to Rams -1. This is a great matchup between two of the five best teams in the NFL. And the Bucs have a trip to New England looming the next week.”
The total is already on the move, too, up 1.5 points to 54.
In Week 2, Tampa Bay (2-0, 1-1 ATS) blew out the Atlanta Falcons 48-25 as a 13-point home favorite while the Rams (2-0, 1-1 ATS) rallied past the Colts 27-24 as 4-point road chalk. Both teams have soared Over the total in each of their first two games.
Chargers at Chiefs
Opening line: Chiefs -7, Over/Under 54
UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: This AFC West clash is seeing the third-most action of all Week 3 games at WynnBet, and defending AFC champion Kansas City is seeing the bulk of that action. In fact, the Chiefs are WynnBet’s second-biggest Week 3 point-spread liability, behind only the Cardinals. Kansas City (-7) is drawing 69% of bets and 81% of money. The total is at 54.5, with 81% of bets but just 59% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 9 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Caesars Sportsbook held firm at Chiefs -6.5 until moving to -7 Thursday afternoon. Ticket count is just shy of 3/1 and money just beyond 4/1 on Kansas City. The total is down a tick at Caesars from 55 to 54.5, but that’s still the second-highest number on the NFL Week 3 board, behind only the Bucs-Rams 55.5 total.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Kansas City hit DraftKings’ odds board as a 7-point chalk Sunday night and shortly thereafter dipped to -6.5, where the number remains today. But ticket count and money are both in the 3/1 range on the Chiefs. The total is up a point to 55, 73% of tickets/58% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: “We opened Chiefs -7 and wrote some ‘dog money, but nothing that moved the needle enough to necessitate a line move,” Murray said.
Chargers-Chiefs came off the board prior to Kansas City’s Week 2 Sunday night game at Baltimore, which is standard operating procedure at The SuperBook. Chargers-Chiefs will go back up Monday morning.
The Chiefs (1-1, 0-2 ATS) were dealt a 36-35 loss as 4-point road favorites. Los Angeles (1-1 SU and ATS) also is coming off an upset loss, falling to Dallas 20-17 as a 3-point home chalk.
Kansas City has gone Over the total in its first two games, while the Chargers have stayed well Under the number in their first two.
Packers at 49ers
Opening line: 49ers -4, Over/Under 47
UPDATE 6 P.M. ET SUNDAY: A couple of hours before the Sunday Night Football kickoff, TwinSpires Sportsbook has the 49ers at -3, down a tick from the -3.5 opener. The Packers are drawing 62% of spread tickets and 64% of spread money.
“It was great two-way action most of the week, but we’ve seen a flurry of Green Bay wagers come through today,” TwinSpires trading analyst Zachary Lucas said. “It’s a rare time that we’ll need the favorite to cover on Sunday Night Football.”
The total is out to 50.5 from a 48 opener, with 77% of tickets/82% of money on the Over.
“It’s a mix of public and sharp money on the Over. We’ll need the Under,” Lucas said.
UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The 49ers initially moved from -4 to -4.5 at Caesars books, then by midweek made their way down to -3, where the line remains today. The Packers, a popular public play everywhere, are attracting 70% of tickets and 73% of money on the spread. And the Over is a really popular play, taking 83% of tickets/97% of money, pushing the total from 47.5 to 50.5.
UPDATE 9 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Aaron Rodgers and Co. have been a popular play all week in the wake of a 35-17 Monday night victory as 11.5-point chalk vs. Detroit. Caesars Sportsbook opened San Francisco -4 and initially moved to -4.5, but the line dipped to -3.5 Tuesday and -3 Thursday, pushed along by a $110,000 Packers +3.5 wager. Ticket count is 3/1 and money 6/1 on Green Bay. The total is a notable mover, as well, going from 47.5 to 50 by Wednesday.
UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Green Bay rebounded from a dreadful Week 1 performance by winning and cashing against Detroit in the Week 2 Monday nighter, 35-17 laying 11.5 points. That seemed to have an impact on this number at DraftKings, where San Francisco opened -4, dipped to -3.5 Tuesday morning and to -3 this afternoon. The road ‘dog is getting much of the love, with ticket count nearly 5/1 and money 3/1 on the Packers.
The total is up 2 points at DK to 50.5, with 85% of bets/67% of dollars on the Over.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: San Francisco is one of those seven 2-0 teams (1-1 ATS), after grinding out a 17-11 win at Philadelphia. Green Bay still has its Week 2 tilt to play, hosting Detroit on Monday night. There was no movement on the Pack-Niners line Sunday night.
“I don’t think people know what to do with the Packers right now,” Murray said. “They got crushed by the Saints last week, and the Saints didn’t exactly light the world on fire today (26-7 loss at Carolina). Not many people weighing in on this one yet.”
Saints at Patriots
Opening line: Patriots -2.5, Over/Under 43
UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: New England is currently -3 at WynnBet, where 73% of spread tickets and 71% of spread dollars are on the Patriots. The total is at 43, with 64% of tickets/61% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 9 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Patriots went from -2.5 to -3 Monday and stuck there the rest of the week at Caesars Sportsbook, with New England now even money at that number. It’s two-way action, with the Pats seeing 59% of bets and 52% of dollars on the spread.
UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: New England bounced between -3 and -2.5 a couple of times at DraftKings, then returned to -3 again this evening. Ticket count is close, with 56% on the Patriots, but the money gap is wider, with the Pats landing 72% of dollars thus far. The total has been around a bit, from 42.5 to 43 to 41.5 and now back to 42.5, and early opinion is split: 77% of tickets are on the Over, and 63% of dollars are on the Under.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: New Orleans (1-1 SU and ATS) followed a big Week 1 performance–routing Green Bay 38-3–with a Week 2 dud in a 27-6 loss at Carolina as a 3-point fave. Meanwhile, New England (1-1 SU and ATS) evened its record with its 11th consecutive victory over the Jets, 25-6 as a 5.5-point road favorite.
“We opened Patriots -2.5 and were bet up to Patriots -3 (even),” Murray said. “Tough to get a read on New Orleans right now. The Saints were missing a lot of coaches and some key players today in Carolina. There’s no way they’re as bad as they looked in that game or as good as they looked in Week 1 vs. the Packers.
“The Patriots bounced back today, but it could be just a case of [Jets rookie QB] Zach Wilson being in way over his head.”
The Under has hit in each of these teams’ first two games.
Bears at Browns
Opening line: Browns -7.5, Over/Under 46.5
UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: WynnBet has the Browns at -7.5, with 71% of bets and 76% of cash on Cleveland for a game in which Bears rookie QB Justin Fields will make his first NFL start. The total fell from 46.5 to 44.5, with 69% of bets on the Over, but 56% of money on the Under.
UPDATE 9 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Browns went from -7.5 Sunday to -7 Tuesday and returned to -7.5 Wednesday at Caesars Sportsbook. Cleveland is netting 70% of spread bets and 80% of spread money. With Chicago trotting out rookie QB Justin Fields, the total is down to 45 from a 46.5 opener.
UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: With Bears QB Andy Dalton (knee) ruled out this week, rookie Justin Fields will make his first NFL start. Perhaps interestingly, though, this line dipped from Browns -7.5 to -7 Tuesday at DraftKings and remains there now. Cleveland is taking 59% of bets and 73% of money. The total is down to 45 from DK’s 46.5 opener, with 54% of bets on the Over, but 71% of cash on the Under.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Both teams rebounded from Week 1 setbacks. Cleveland (1-1, 2-0 ATS) pulled away from Houston in the second half for a 31-21 win as a 13.5-point home favorite, and Chicago (1-1 SU and ATS) held off a Cincinnati comeback for a 20-17 victory laying 2 points at home.
In the win, Bears QB Andy Dalton injured his knee and exited early, making way for rookie Justin Fields. “We will keep an eye on the Bears’ QB situation, but it doesn’t impact the line much,” Murray said. “The Bears defense looked great at times today, but they will have their hands full with that Cleveland running game.”
The Browns ticked up to -8 Sunday night, while the total was stable.
Panthers at Texans
Opening line: Panthers -7, Over/Under 43
UPDATE 6:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Carolina is now out to -8.5 less than two hours before game time at TwinSpires, while taking 76% of tickets and 72% of money. “The Panthers are a popular teaser/parlay choice this week. We’d love to see a Texans outright win to break those up,” TwinSpires trading analyst Zachary Lucas said. The total inched from 43.5 to 43, with 54% of tickets/58% of money on the Under.
UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: A few hours before kickoff, WynnBet has Carolina up to an 8-point chalk. “The line opened at 7, sharps bet it up to 8, and there has been two-way action since then,” WynnBet’s trading room said. Still, point-spread ticket count and money are lopsided, with 80% of bets/87% of cash on the favorite for tonight’s game.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Houston covered in its first two games, including an at least somewhat surprising Week 1 rout of Jacksonville. But with QB Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) confirmed out at least three weeks, point-spread bettors don’t have a lot of faith in rookie Davis Mills.
At DraftKings, the Panthers reached -8.5 Tuesday in the wake of the Taylor news, and the line is now Carolina -8, with the favorite 73% of tickets and 83% of money. The total opened at 43, rose to 44, dipped to 42.5 and is now 43 again, with 72% of bets/62% of dollars on the Over.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: It’s the first game of Week 3, so this nonconference clash surely will draw action–and already is–in the standalone slot for Thursday Night Football. Carolina (2-0 SU and ATS) got the nod as a touchdown chalk on the road after pounding New Orleans 26-7 giving 3 points at home.
“We opened Carolina -7 and have bounced around between -7/-7.5, with bets coming in on both sides,” Murray said. “[Texans QB] Tyrod Taylor currently is listed as questionable, so we will keep an eye on that. It makes a slight difference to the point spread, but not enough of one to take the game off the board.”
Taylor hurt his hamstring and sat out the second half of the Texans’ 31-21 loss as 13.5-point pups at Cleveland. Rookie David Mills played the second half for Houston (1-1, 2-0 ATS), with Deshaun Watson remaining inactive as the star QB deals with off-field legal issues.
Cardinals at Jaguars
Opening line: Cardinals -7, Over/Under 52
UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Bettors are all over this contest, which is taking the most action of all the Week 3 games at WynnBet. And correspondingly, Arizona covering is the book’s No. 1 liability Sunday. The Cardinals (-7.5) are attracting 86% of spread bets and 91% of spread dollars. Betting on the total (51.5) is a bit more in balance, with the Over taking 60% of bets/64% of money.
UPDATE 9:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: This game is a snowball rolling downhill at multiple sportsbooks. “The biggest ticket-count discrepancy for NFL Week 3 is Cardinals-Jaguars. It’s 11/1 Cardinals tickets and 8/1 Cardinals money,” BetMGM Nevada’s Scott Shelton said. That said, line movement is modest, from Arizona -7 to -7.5. Shelton added that there are more than 1,000 parlay/moneyline parlay/teaser tickets that include the Cards, while just 58 tickets include the Jaguars.
UPDATE 3:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: The Cardinals opened -7 and rose to -7.5 before falling back to the opener at DraftKings, where practically all the early tickets and money are on Arizona. The total moved from 52 to 51.5, with 61% of bets/68% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Arizona, a popular public play in Week 2, improved to 2-0 (1-1 ATS) by holding on for a 34-33 home win over Minnesota as a 4-point favorite. Jacksonville (0-2 SU and ATS) continued to have growing pains behind rookie QB Trevor Lawrence, who threw two interceptions in the Jags’ 23-13 home loss as 6-point ‘dogs vs. Denver.
The line and the total were stable Sunday night at The SuperBook.
Colts at Titans
Opening line: Titans -5.5, Over/Under 49.5
UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: The Titans are sitting at -5.5 at WynnBet while a hefty 86% of bets and 94% of money on the spread. The total is at 47, with the Over nabbing 85% of bets/75% of money.
UPDATE 10 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Tennessee moved from -5.5 to -6 midweek at Caesars Sportsbook, then dipped back to the opener this afternoon. That’s despite point-spread bettors piling on the Titans, to the tune of 85% of tickets and 84% of money. The total is down 2 points to 48, with Colts QB Carson Wentz (ankles) still questionable.
UPDATE 7 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: DraftKings pegged the Titans 5-point favorites at Sunday night’s outset, went to -5.5 Monday and back to 5 this afternoon. Point-spread ticket count is running 3/1 and money 6/1 on Tennessee.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Indianapolis gave the L.A. Rams a strong effort, but fell to 0-2 (1-1 ATS) in a 27-24 loss as a 4-point home underdog. The Colts also lost QB Carson Wentz to a fourth-quarter ankle injury. Tennessee, which got trucked at home against Arizona in Week 1, went to Seattle as a 6.5-point ‘dog, trailed by 15 points at halftime and rallied for a 33-30 overtime win. The Titans are 1-1 SU and ATS.
With the Colts’ QB situation uncertain, this game was off the board Sunday night at The SuperBook. Update: The SuperBook went up Monday afternoon with the Titans 5.5-point favorites and a total of 48.
Ravens at Lions
Opening line: Ravens -7.5, Over/Under 48.5
UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Baltimore, coming off a big home win over Kansas City last Sunday night, is a 7.5-point road favorite at BetWynn, down from a -9 opener. The Ravens are taking 70% of spread tickets and money. The total is at 50.5, with 72% of tickets/67% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 7 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Interestingly, DraftKings is currently a point above most books, with the Ravens at -9 from a -7.5 opener and -7 low point Monday. Baltimore is taking 77% of bets and 79% of cash at the midweek point.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Baltimore (1-1 SU and ATS) got a big Week 2 win–as did many sportsbooks–when it knocked off Kansas City 36-35 as a 4-point home underdog in the Sunday night game. Detroit has Week 2 work to do, playing at Green Bay on Monday night.
This line came off the board at The SuperBook once the Chiefs-Ravens game kicked off. Ravens-Lions will go back up Monday morning.
Washington at Bills
Opening line: Bills -9.5, Over/Under 47
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SATURDAY: This line is all the way down to Buffalo -7 from a -9.5 opener at WynnBet. However, the Bills are still the book’s third-largest liability on NFL Week 3 Sunday, with ticket count and money both in the 4/1 range on Josh Allen and Co. The total is at 45.5, with 61% of bets/79% of cash on the Over.
UPDATE 7 P.M. ET FRIDAY: As with the Bengals-Steelers tilt (see below), the underdog took a $300,000 wager at Caesars Sportsbook. The bettor took 9 points with Washington early in the week, and as such, WFT is attracting 86% of point-spread dollars. The Bills are all the way down to -7 from a -9.5 opener, while taking 75% of spread tickets.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: After a Week 1 home loss to Pittsburgh, Buffalo (1-1 SU and ATS) got on track with a 35-0 beatdown of Miami as a 3.5-point road fave. Washington (1-1, 0-2 ATS) is coming off a mini-bye, after edging the New York Giants 30-29 as a 4-point chalk Thursday night.

Falcons at Giants
Opening line: Giants -3, Over/Under 48
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SATURDAY: This line has been pretty stable at Giants -3, and in concert with that, WynnBet is seeing two-way action on the spread. The Falcons are taking 52% of tickets and the Giants 54% of money. The total is at 47.5, with tickets running dead even and money 2/1-plus on the Over.
UPDATE 7 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Giants have been pinned to -3 all week at Caesars Sportsbook, where the Falcons are getting 56% of bets and 67% of money. The total also hasn’t budged off 48.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: New York lost at Washington 30-29 on a final-seconds field goal in the Week 2 Thursday nighter. But at least the Giants (0-2, 1-1 ATS) covered as 4-point ‘dogs, and they’ll have a little more rest for this Week 3 tilt. Atlanta (0-2 SU and ATS) was a 13-point ‘dog at Tampa Bay and got boatraced 48-25.
The SuperBook put a little premium on the Giants -3 opening line, which was priced at -120. There was no movement Sunday night.
Bengals at Steelers
Opening line: Steelers -4, Over/Under 46
UPDATE 11 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Pittsburgh is down to a 3-point favorite WynnBet, but is still attracting 72% of spread tickets and 75% of spread money. The total of 43–tied for the second-lowest Week 3 number–is seeing 72% of tickets/86% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 7 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Under normal circumstances, Caesars Sportsbook would need underdog Cincinnati this week. But under normal circumstances, the book doesn’t take a $300,000 bet midweek on a 3.5-point underdog. That’s what happened Wednesday, with that major wager on the Bengals taking the Steelers down to -3. Pittsburgh, which opened -4.5 at Caesars, is still drawing 71% of spread bets, but thanks to that fat bet, Cincinnati is getting 86% of spread dollars.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Steelers (1-1 SU and ATS) probably thought they were catching the Raiders at an ideal time Sunday, with Las Vegas having to travel across the country after opening the season on Monday Night Football. But that proved false. Pittsburgh, laying 5.5 points at home, trailed almost the entire way in a 26-17 loss. Meanwhile, the Bengals (1-1 SU and ATS) made a late charge at Chicago, but fell short 20-17 as 2-point pups.
This AFC North clash got some attention Sunday night at The SuperBook, which moved Pittsburgh out to -4.5 just a few minutes after posting the line. The total also fell a point to 45. ET SUNDAY: Even without starting QB Tua Tagovailoa, Miami this morning moved from +4 to +3.5 at Caesars Sportsbook, which opened this contest at Raiders -4 and peaked early in the week at -4.5. The action belies the late move, with Las Vegas collecting 89% of spread bets and 79% of spread dollars. The total dipped from 45 to 43.5, but it’s up a point today to 44.5.
UPDATE 10 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Las Vegas bounced from -4 to -4.5 to -3.5 and back to the -4 opener early in the week at Caesars Sportsbook. The line has been stable at Raiders -4 since Wednesday, and the home chalk is getting the vast majority of tickets and money, at 90% and 85%, respectively. The total is down to 43.5 from a 45.5 peak and 45 opener, with Miami set to start Jacoby Brissett in place of Tua Tagovailoa (ribs).
UPDATE 7:30 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa today was ruled out for Week 3 with fractured ribs, so Jacoby Brissett will get the nod Sunday. Las Vegas ticked from -3.5 to -4 this morning at DraftKings, and spread action is all Raiders midweek, at 92% of tickets and 82% of money.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Las Vegas is off to a 2-0 SU and ATS start after a 26-17 upset getting 5.5 points at Pittsburgh. Coupled with Miami’s QB issues–Tua Tagovailoa was knocked out of Sunday’s 35-0 loss to Buffalo with bruised ribs–The SuperBook opened the Raiders -4.

Jets at Broncos

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: The Broncos are in a rare spot of being a double-digit favorite, though they’re down to -10 from a -11 opener at Caesars books, and point-spread action reflects that move. Denver is taking 74% of bets, but New York is getting 58% of dollars. This game has the lowest total of the week at 41.5, which is actually up from the 41 opener, with 53% of bets/64% of money on the Over.
UPDATE 7 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Denver landed on Caesars Sportsbook’s odds board as an 11-point chalk, something quite rare of late in the Mile High City. In fact, the last time the Broncos laid double digits was on Oct. 15, 2017, as 13.5-point home favorites against the Giants. And Denver lost outright. 23-10. For this week’s tilt, the Broncos dipped to -10 midweek and are now -10.5 while attracting 74% of bets and 70% of dollars.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Like its AFC West rival the Raiders, Denver also is 2-0 SU and ATS and now gets to play its home opener against a rookie quarterback. That QB, Zach Wilson, tossed four interceptions and mustered just two field-goal drives in New York’s 25-6 loss to New England as a 5.5-point home underdog. The Jets are 0-2 SU and ATS.
There was no movement in the spread Sunday night, but the total ticked from 41.5 to 41. The Under is a combined 4-0 for Denver and New York so far.
Seahawks at Vikings
Opening line: Seahawks -2.5, Over/Under 53
UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: On Friday, Seattle moved from -1.5 to -2 and is still there now at Caesars books, while bagging 73% of spread tickets and 71% of spread money. The total opened at 55, peaked at 55.5 early in the week and bottomed out this morning at 54.5, with the Over seeing 73% of tickets, but the Under landing 85% of cash.
UPDATE 7 P.M. ET FRIDAY: After spending all week at -1.5, Seattle edged up to -2 this afternoon at Caesars Sportsbook, where ticket count is 3/1 and money 2/1 on the Seahawks.
UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Minnesota kicker Greg Joseph missed a 37-yard field goal as time expired in Arizona, resulting in the Vikings (0-2 SU, 1-1 ATS) losing 34-33 as 4-point pups. Minnesota, which fell 27-24 in overtime at Cincinnati in Week 1, has lost both games by a combined 4 points.
Seattle (1-1 SU and ATS) is also smarting after going off as a 6.5-point home chalk, blowing a 23-9 halftime lead and losing to Tennessee 33-30 in overtime.
