Bears vs Packers Betting Preview: NFL Predictions Today
Back on December 7th at Lambeau, the Packers took down the Bears, 28-21, snapping Chicago’s five-game win streak and reclaiming control of the NFC North race.
Jordan Love carved up the Bears’ secondary (234 yards, 3 TDs), while Josh Jacobs pounded the rock for 86 yards and a score. Caleb Williams showed flashes (220 yards, 2 TDs) but came up short.
Fast forward to December 20th – revenge game in Chicago. The Bears flipped the script in overtime, winning 22-16 on a DJ Moore 46-yard touchdown bomb. Williams was surgical (250 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT), and Chicago’s defense forced Love out of the game with a concussion.
That loss cost Green Bay a shot at the division and relegated them to Wild Card status. Now they’re back in Chicago looking to complete the season sweep and advance to the Divisional Round.
Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers Today
Despite much debate between football nerds on social media as to whether or not Caleb Williams is “actually good,” he put together an impressive season on paper: 3,942 passing yards, 27 touchdowns, just 7 interceptions, and a 58.1% completion rate. He’s got weapons, too. D’Andre Swift had a career year (1,087 rushing yards, 9 TDs on 4.9 yards per carry), giving Chicago a legitimate ground-and-pound attack that ranked 3rd in the NFL in rushing (144.5 yards/game).
The receiving corps gets a massive boost with Rome Odunze returning from a foot injury that has sidelined him since Week 13. Before going down, Odunze was Chicago’s leader in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
He admitted Wednesday his stamina isn’t 100%, but he’s confident he can contribute. Having him alongside DJ Moore (682 yards, 6 TDs) gives Williams two legitimate downfield threats against a Packers secondary that’s been vulnerable all season.
Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears Today
The Packers’ offense runs through Josh Jacobs. He rushed for 929 yards and a ridiculous 13 touchdowns (tied-4th in the NFL) while chipping in 282 receiving yards.
Jacobs feasted against Chicago in Week 14 (86 yards, 1 TD), and he’s been the focal point of Matt LaFleur’s game plan all season. Green Bay ranked just 15th in total offense and 16th in scoring (23.0 PPG), but they’ve been efficient when it matters.
Defensively, the Packers are better than the Bears – 11th in points allowed (21.2 PPG) – and they’ve got juice up front. Rashan Gary posted 7.5 sacks, but the Packers haven’t been the same without Micah Parsons, which could become costly against Williams and his ability to extend plays.

NFL Bets Today: Our Expert Picks For Bears vs Packers
While the Bears’ defense has shown flashes this season, it’s still very exploitable. Chicago’s defensive unit ranks dead last in allowing rushing yards before contact per attempt (via Fantasy Points).
That means they’re being pushed around at the line of scrimmage. Josh Jacobs is the prototype north-south tailback that can generate momentum and start bulldozing at the second level.
I’m not sure who’s going to win this game, but I’m betting on Jacobs getting a ton of volume and finding at least moderate success.
