While these games might not mean much in the standings, they mean everything for bettors trying to get a read on rotations, minutes distribution, and who’s actually healthy heading into the regular season opener next Tuesday.

NBA Preseason Props Today: Tuesday, October 14th
Here’s the deal—this week is your last chance to gather intel before real money starts flying around.
Pay attention to who’s sitting out, who’s playing extended minutes in meaningless games (usually a bad sign), and which rookies are forcing their way into legitimate roles.
The coaches are still tinkering, but by Friday’s final slate, you’ll be seeing close to the real thing.
Evan Mobley Higher Than 27.5 PRA
I’m expecting Mobley to have a bigger role for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season, and he’s looked great in preseason. He’s averaging 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 21.8 minutes per game. He played 26 minutes in his last game, posting 21 points with 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
The Cavs ran their starters heavy minutes in their final preseason game last season. Mobley posted 15 points with 10 rebounds and 8 assists in 35 minutes in that game. I’m expecting them to run them in a dress rehearsal type situation hereafter they sat their starters in their last game.
This is far too low of a number if we’re getting 30+ minutes for Mobley tonight.

Devin Booker Higher Than 16.5 Points
Booker hasn’t been an efficient player in the NBA Preseason thus far, but he’s still scoring at a high level. He’s averaging 20.0 points on 13.3 FGA, 5.3 3PA, and 8.3 FTA in 26.2 minutes per game. He’s shooting extremely well from deep, but he’s struggled from inside the arc.
The key here is that this is the Phoenix Suns last preseason game. We’re in a bit of an odd situation for Booker, as he’s been locked into solid minutes throughout the preseason thus far. Generally, he’ll ramp up a bit and play his most minutes in his final game.
I have my concerns that they’ve already ramped him up, and he’ll be somewhat limited in this game, but it’s more likely that he’ll find minutes in the mid- to high-20s once again, which should be enough for a dominant scorer to beat this number.
