TJ Hockenson is one of our Monday NFL ladder bets today for Bears vs Vikins

It’s been a wild Week 1, and we’re going to cap it off with our Monday NFL ladder bets for the Bears vs. Vikings game!

The beauty of alt prop line betting is that you can target the exact scenarios you’re most confident about.

For example, if you think Colston Loveland is going to absolutely torch Minnesota’s secondary, why settle for his typical receiving yards line when you can bump it up to 50+ yards and get way juicier odds?

The market’s still catching up to how these offenses have evolved, especially with Ben Johnson taking over in Chicago.

Our betting expert Justin Bales is here to break it all down. Check our NFL news hub for plenty of FREE content.

Monday NFL Ladder Bets: Bears vs Vikings Alt Prop Lines

Can Ben Johnson take Caleb Williams and the talented Chicago offense to the next level? Is J.J. McCarthy the long-term answer in Minnesota?

We’ll start to find a few answers after the dust settles on Monday night.

Olamide Zaccheaus Receiving Yards Ladder

Zaccheaus is one of those receivers who stick around the NFL and produce enough to continue getting contracts. He isn’t ever the WR1, but he does produce enough to make an impact on the field.

The veteran saw more than 20 snaps in four games for the Washington Commanders last season. He averaged 4.5 receptions for 60.5 receiving yards and 0.8 touchdowns on 6.3 targets per game. He also averaged 30.5 routes per game in those contests.

He posted 70+ receiving yards in two of those four games. His most impressive game came in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals, though. He recorded 6 receptions for 85 yards on 6 targets while running only 11 routes in the game.

Zaccheaus was treated as a starter in the preseason for the Chicago Bears. It looks like he’s going to hold off Luther Burden for the time being after the rookie struggled with an injury throughout camp.

Chicago uses their wide receivers in a variety of ways, but Zaccheaus saw most of his snaps in the slot. He recorded a dominant 3.48 Y/RR throughout the preseason, posting 73 yards on only 21 routes.

This is entirely too low a total for a starting receiver in what projects to be a solid offense.

Where to Bet: Olamide Zaccheaus 20+ receiving yards (-154) through 70+ receiving yards (+1000) | Ladder at FanDuel Sportsbook

TJ Hockenson Receiving Yards Ladder

Hockenson missed part of the season with an injury in 2024, but he’s still an outstanding receiving tight end. He posted 41 receptions for 455 yards on 59 targets across 10 games last season. He added 5 receptions for 64 yards and 1 touchdown in the playoffs.

The tight end looks healthy, and he’s expected to take on a major role this season. He could have a slightly larger role early on with Jordan Addison suspended as well.

The key here is the matchup. Dennis Allen will take over as the defensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears. He’s an aggressive coach, and he’s likely to attack rookie quarterback JJ McCarthy. If that’s the case, Hockenson should turn into a de facto security blanket for the rookie.

The New Orleans Saints also allowed the eighth-most receiving yards (57.5) per game to opposing tight ends last season. Allen was the head coach of New Orleans in 2024 (for 9 games), and they used his defense throughout the season.

I don’t expect Chicago to take a massive step forward against tight ends, even if they have a better defense overall. This is a matchup we can exploit, and Hockenson is the type of receiver that can climb this entire ladder.
