Josh Allen Passing Yards Ladder
Allen enjoyed an elite 2024 season for the Buffalo Bills. He posted 3,731 yards with 28 touchdowns and 6 interceptions across 16 games. He topped out at 362 yards in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions.
Allen gets an elite matchup against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend. They’re allowing the second-most passing yards (262.7) per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. The Ravens also allowed 270 yards and 2 touchdowns to Russell Wilson in the Wildcard Round.
Allen struggled in a blowout loss to Baltimore in Week 4 of this season. He recorded only 180 yards on 29 pass attempts. It’s more likely that this game turns into a shootout than the Ravens dominating the Bills as they did in that game.
We’re likely getting this low of a total because of the weather. It’s supposed to be extremely cold with potential snow throughout the game. That doesn’t matter nearly as much as the wind for quarterbacks, though, and there aren’t any real concerns with the wind in this game.
If Buffalo wants to beat Baltimore this weekend, they’re going to need to rely heavily on Allen. Granted, he’s likely to use his legs in this game, but he also comes with elite passing upside. We’re getting elite odds on his ladder this weekend.
What to bet: Josh Allen 250+ passing yards through 350+ passing yards
David Montgomery Rushing Yards Ladder
Montgomery found plenty of success for the Detroit Lions before missing their final few games with an injury. He recorded 775 yards and 12 touchdowns on 185 carries. He recorded a season-high 105 yards in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Montgomery gets an elite matchup against the Washington Commanders in the Divisional Round. They’re allowing the fourth-most rushing yards (113.8) per game to opposing running backs. Washington is also giving up 4.9 yards per carry this season.
Montgomery is extremely risky this week because we don’t know exactly how healthy he is. He missed the end of the season with an injury, but it’s been suggested that he’ll be fully healthy entering this season. If that’s the case, we’re getting a ridiculous number on him.
Even if Montgomery sees some type of limited role, he can cash the beginning of this ladder. If he finds his normal role, he boasts the ability to complete the entire ladder. I don’t want to go too high, though, because it’s hard to believe he’s going to see 20+ carries in this game.
What to Bet: David Montgomery 50+ rushing yards through 100+ rushing yards
Dallas Goedert Receiving Yards Ladder
Goedert saw mixed results in limited games for the Philadelphia Eagles this season. He posted 42 receptions for 496 yards and 2 touchdowns on 51 targets. He also recorded a ridiculous 170 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3.
Goedert returned to run only 9 routes in Week 18, posting 4 receptions for 55 yards on 6 targets. He saw an uptick in routes (18) last week against the Green Bay Packers. He posted 4 receptions for 47 yards and 1 touchdown on 6 targets in that game.
Goedert gets a good matchup against the Los Angeles Rams this weekend. The Rams are giving up the fifth-most receiving yards (63.8) per game to opposing tight ends this season. They’re also allowing 6.2 receptions on 8.4 targets to the position.
Goedert ran a route on the majority of the dropbacks last week, and he’ll be another week healthier on Sunday. He’ll likely play full snaps, and I’d expect more than 24 dropbacks for Philadelphia this week.
I wasn’t initially going to run the ladder all the way to 100, but the odds are too good to not take the shot.
What to Bet: Dallas Goedert 40+ receiving yards through 100+ receiving yards
