CS2 Props – Counter-Strike Predictions & Picks Today

Counter-Strike games take place all throughout the day. In order to maintain consistency and expectations, CS2 props will be posted when there are significant events taking place.

IEM COLOGNE: Friday, August 1

The quarter-final matches are here! Here’s the full schedule:

The MongolZ vs. Na’Vi
FURIA vs. Mousesports

Top performers in the group stages:

The winners of these matches will go on to face Vitality and Spirit, who have already booked a direct spot in the semi-finals.

Both series should be highly competitive and can go either way.

Na’Vi recently moved jL to inactive and brought in makazze as the new fifth, and the early results have been encouraging in Cologne. This will be the biggest test yet on the stage against a strong and established MongolZ lineup.

Then we get FURIA/MOUZ later in the day, another golden matchup. FURIA has been cooking ever since bringing in molodoy and YEKINDAR, so we like the team’s chances of pushing Mousesports.

Series Predictions

Na’Vi > MongolZ 2-1
FURIA > Mousesports 2-1

Top DFS Targets

Where should we be looking with our CS2 picks?

iM vs. MongolZ
Senzu vs. Na’Vi
molodoy vs. Mousesports
xertioN vs. FURIA

IEM COLOGNE: Tuesday, July 29th

The matches start early in the AM. Here’s the full schedule:

FaZe vs. Aurora
NIP vs. Na’Vi
The MongolZ vs. Vitality
Mousesports vs. Spirit
G2 vs. FURIA

We are getting down to the very best of the best at IEM Cologne, and there are some juicy matchups on the board for Tuesday.

Top individual performers from yesterday:

Series Predictions

FaZe > Aurora 2-1
Na’Vi > NIP 2-1
Vitality > MongolZ 2-1
Mousesports > Spirit 2-1
FURIA > G2 2-1

Top DFS Targets

Where should we be looking with our CS2 picks?

frozen vs. Aurora

So far, it’s been a pretty strong showing out of FaZe in broky’s return to the active lineup. frozen’s play has been a big reason why, and he remains the most reliable rifler heading into a matchup with an Aurora team that’s playing with a talented stand-in (xfl0ud) in place of XANTERES.

donk vs. Mousesports

He’s still destroying everyone. This is an extremely tough matchup against MOUZ, so if there were ever a time to consider a fade, it may be here. That said, donk has been on another level, and his general upside is unmatched in DFS.

molodoy vs. G2

What a pickup molodoy has turned out to be for FURIA, who will do battle with G2 on Tuesday.

molodoy CS2 Projection - Underdog

This one could go either way, but we can already see molodoy is one of the most impactful AWPers in the world, and he doesn’t seem afraid of the moment.

IEM COLOGNE: Monday, July 28th

The matches start early in the AM. Here’s the full schedule:

Na’Vi vs. Mousesports
NIP vs. HEROIC
Aurora vs. Spirit
FaZe vs. Liquid
Falcons vs. FURIA
3DMAX vs. G2

We have more great CS2 action at IEM Cologne as Stage 2 continues.

IEM COLOGNE: Saturday, July 26th

It’s the second stage of IEM Cologne! We’re down to the best of the best CS2 has to offer, and it should be a fun day.

The matches start early in the AM. Here’s the full schedule:

G2 vs. FURIA
Falcons vs. GamerLegion
Vitality vs. Astralis
The MongolZ vs. 3DMAX
Na’Vi vs. FaZe
Aurora vs. NIP

Notes:

— molodoy has quickly become one of the most hyped players since joining up with FURIA. Can he get it done against a G2 team that has shuffled its lineup? huNter has moved to the in-game leader role and the organization has also brought in SunPayus and MATYS, along with a new coach.

— It will be the Tier 1 debut for highly-touted prospect kyousuke, with Falcons facing a tough GamerLegion. Falcons is stacked and has had a lot of time to prepare, so it’ll be interesting to see if there are any cobwebs early on.

— Vitality is the number one squad in the world and is fresh off a win at the Austin Major. ZywOo, ropz and company are strong favorites against Astralis, but the Danes have been looking quite a bit more dangerous under HooXi’s leadership.

— So far so good for broky’s return to activity for FaZe. He’s actually been one of the top performers for the team at this event and now faces Na’Vi, who just replaced jL with a young up-and-comer in makazze.

— Aurora will play with a stand-in (xfl0ud) for XANTERES at this event, so that’s a situation worth watching. It’s not going to be easy against NIP, who have been rounding into form recently.

Series Predictions

FURIA > G2 2-1
Falcons > GamerLegion 2-1
Vitality > Astralis 2-0
The MongolZ > 3DMAX 2-0
FaZe > Na’Vi 2-1
NIP > Aurora 2-1

IEM COLOGNE: Thursday, July 24th

It was an entertaining opening day of CS2 action in Cologne, and we’ve got another full slate of games ahead of us on Thursday.

The matches start early in the AM. Here’s the full schedule:

GamerLegion vs. Virtus.pro
Complexity vs. TYLOO
3DMAX vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas
B8 vs. FlyQuest
FaZe vs. Liquid
MIBR vs. HEROIC

Before we get into the analysis for Thursday, a look at the top individual performers from day one:

Series Predictions

GamerLegion > Virtus.pro 2-1
TYLOO > Complexity 2-1
3DMAX > NIP 2-1
FlyQuest > B8 2-1
FaZe > Liquid 2-1
HEROIC > MIBR 2-1

Top DFS Targets

Where should we be looking with our CS2 picks?

JamYoung vs. Complexity – TYLOO fell short as a team against VP despite JamYoung’s best efforts, but the matchup looks friendlier against a Complexity squad that’s been pretty shaky. On an individual level, JamYoung’s firepower and match-to-match upside is considerable.

frozen vs. Liquid – FaZe took care of business against BIG and now runs into Liquid, who surprised with a rather dominant 2-0 series win over paiN on the opening day. frozen, one of the most talented riflers in the world, was excellent in FaZe’s win on Tuesday and is worth a look again here.

tN1R vs. MIBR – The form has not been quite as strong, but we’re high on tN1R long term. He has a lot of skill and smarts, and HEROIC has to be liking their chances against MIBR, who did not look convincing whatsoever yesterday.

IEM COLOGNE: Wednesday, July 23rd

We have a high-level tournament kicking off this week at IEM Cologne. It’s a stacked field with a ton of the world’s best CS2 teams, so it should be a fun event.

The matches start early in the AM. Here’s the full schedule:

GamerLegion vs. Complexity
TYLOO vs. Virtus.pro
Astralis vs. B8
FlyQuest vs. FURIA
FaZe vs. BIG
3DMAX vs. MIBR
Liquid vs. paiN
NIP vs. HEROIC

Here is who we favoring on a team and player level:

Series Predictions

GamerLegion > Complexity 2-1
TYLOO > Virtus.pro 2-1
Astralis > B8 2-1
FURIA > FlyQuest 2-0
FaZe > BIG 2-1
3DMAX > MIBR 2-1
paiN > Liquid 2-1
NIP > HEROIC 2-1

Top DFS Targets

Where should we be looking with our CS2 picks?

REZ vs. Complexity – The day starts off with an intriguing matchup between GamerLegion and Complexity, two teams that disappointed at FISSURE Playground. hallzerk and Grim would be the top targets on the COL side, while we prefer REZ and PR for GL.

CS2 Props Underdog

JamYoung vs. Virtus.pro – Fresh off an event win and MVP trophy, confidence has to be high for JamYoung and his TYLOO teammates. Despite a rough opening event with Perfecto, Virtus.pro is generally not an easy opponent to play against, though, so we’re eager to see how this one plays out.

molodoy vs. FlyQuest – It’s been an amazing start to molodoy’s career at FURIA, who are the firm favorites against a FlyQuest team that just brought on jks as the new fifth. We give the edge in firepower and experience to FURIA here, and molodoy can really take over when he’s feeling it.

EliGE & frozen vs. BIG – For those that missed the news, broky has been activated again and will be the fifth for FaZe in Cologne. This team is going to be leaning on the rifling duo of EliGE and frozen throughout. Both are strong targets in a showdown with the German organization BIG.

sjuush vs. HEROIC – Later in the day, we get NIP up against HEROIC. Both teams have undergone lineup changes, so this will be a nice litmus test. sjuush has quickly become the foundation of this NIP team under Snappi’s leadership and has consistently been making high impact.

Check back later for more CS2 picks and analysis throughout the tournament.
