ESL CS2 Preview: Monday, October 6th

All matches will be played on LAN in a best-of-three format.
Series Predictions
The MongolZ > GamerLegion 2-0
FaZe > Astralis 2-1
Falcons > Mousesports 2-1
Spirit > G2 2-1
Top individual performers from yesterday (Sunday):
A few of my notes for the later games:
— GamerLegion has been very inconsistent to start this tournament, which doesn’t bode well against one of the stronger teams in the world in MongolZ.
— FaZe/Astralis should be interesting. FaZe just benched rain but now has to use him as a stand-in after a registration mistake. This team does have a lot of firepower, namely riflers frozen and Twistzz, so we expect a fight.
— It should be quite the showdown between Falcons and Mousesports, who are both playing at a high level. This one is a toss-up in our minds and not a favorite for DFS and betting purposes, despite all of the skill that will be in the server.
— So far, so good for the new Spirit starting five. donk and company are performing like tournament favorites, but this is one of the tougher matchups they’ll face against a G2 team that just won BLAST Open London.

Counter-Strike FAQ – CS2 Props & DFS Pick’Em Information
Read on for more information on CS2 props and DFS pick’em.
What is Counter-Strike?
CS2 is a popular video game in which two teams play 5v5.
The first team to win 13 rounds wins that particular “map”, and there are best-of-one, best-of-three, and best-of-three series depending on the tournament.
To win a round, a team must eliminate all of the opposing players or complete a team objective.
For the CT (Counter-Terrorist) side, the team goal is to defuse the bomb if planted by the Terrorist (T) side. For the T side, the objective is to eliminate all five opposing CTs OR plant the bomb and protect it long enough for it to explode.
For DFS and betting purposes, you can either participate in DFS contests where you build a full lineup of CS2 players, or you can try to predict individual player performance.
Just like in traditional sports, there are star players who accumulate more fantasy points in general, and recent player/team form and matchups can play a huge role in deciphering the best plays on a day-to-day basis.
