CS2 Props – Counter-Strike Predictions & Picks Today
Counter-Strike games take place all throughout the day. In order to maintain consistency and expectations, CS2 props will be posted when there are major events taking place.
BLAST Austin Qualifying: Thursday, April 17th
There are a ton of BLAST Austin major qualifiers going on across multiple continents all throughout the week.
Wildcard and Complexity have already booked their spots to the major in Austin, Texas, and there is one last spot up for grabs in the American qualifying today.
For Thursday, here are our notes:
— In the European qualifiers, Astralis will take on the winner of ENCE/B8 (currently playing) for the last BLAST Austin major spot. device has been the team’s best player at this event so far, putting up a 1.23 HLTV rating, the fifth-best of all players participating in the qualifying.
— For those in the USA, we have BLUEJAYS vs. Marsborne and NRG vs. Getting Info later on in the day. The winners will meet up for the last American qualifying spot and the losers will be eliminated, so the stakes are high.
— We expect both of these matches to be close. Individually we’re most interested in Fruitcupx for BLUEJAYS and Jeorge for NRG, who we believe will overcome Getting Info in today’s showdown.
— NRG has more experience in these higher-pressure moments and one of the most proven in-game leaders North America could bring to the table in nitr0. In the end, we think they’ll win the first series and then also get the better of the winner of BLUEJAYS/Marsborne to secure that coveted major slot. Just know that these matches will be online, where these American derbies tend to end up closer than people think.
Check back later to see if any more CS2 picks and analysis are added for today.
Good luck!

BLAST Austin Qualifying: Wednesday, April 16th
There are a ton of BLAST Austin major qualifiers going on across multiple continents all throughout the week.
For Wednesday, here are our notes:
— GamerLegion and fnatic have been eliminated from the BLAST qualifier and will not take part at the major in Austin, Texas later this year. They fell short in the European qualifiers, and it’s particularly surprising GamerLegion didn’t perform better considering they’re ranked in the top 15 in the world right now and had posted some strong results at recent LAN events.
— HEROIC and OG were the first two teams to qualify for the major earlier in the week, and there are four more spots up for grabs in Europe. Astralis is the most recognizable team still in the mix for a spot and is currently taking on Metizport in the Swiss Round 4 matchup.
— The two American qualifier matches we’re most excited about are Complexity vs. BLUEJAYS (2:30 PM ET) and Wildcard vs. NRG (7:30 PM ET). Grim and Complexity had to work for it in a 2-0 series win over Getting Info yesterday and could face another tricky test against an emerging BLUEJAYS team. Remember that all of these matches will be played online and not on LAN, which makes things quite a bit more random in general.
— Wildcard/NRG should be a hard-fought match. Both teams are well-balanced and have highly experienced in-game leaders in stanislaw and nitr0, so we’re eager to see how this one plays out. The Swedish duo of susp and phzy would be our preferred individual targets on the Wildcard side.
Check back later to see if any more CS2 picks and analysis are added for Wednesday.

PGL Bucharest CS2 Picks: Saturday, April 12th
The final four teams are set for PGL Bucharest, and both matches should be highly entertaining and competitive.
Here’s the schedule for Saturday’s CS2 action:
CS2 Preview (4/12/25)
Falcons vs. FaZe
G2 vs. Complexity
A quick look at the highest individual HLTV ratings at the tournament so far, of those still in the event:
m0NESY (1.28)
Grim (1.26)
hallzerk (1.23)
HeavyGod (1.22)
broky (1.19)
EliGE (1.18)
NiKo (1.18)
Observations:
Really looking forward to both of these matchups!
NiKo and Falcons have turned the corner after a rough start to PGL amidst rumors of upcoming roster changes, booking a spot in the final four after a hard-fought 2-1 series win over GamerLegion in the quarters.
Even though it looks like he’s on his way out (to be replaced by m0NESY), degster has had quite a few standout moments for Falcons at this tournament. He would be our second-favorite target behind NiKo in this one.
FaZe has also bounced back in style with two dominant wins in a row to move on to the semi-finals, but karrigan’s crew have been harder to pin down fantasy-wise since EliGE joined up.
The latter showdown is another golden one, as the red-hot American organization Complexity takes on G2 for a spot in the finals.
Grim and hallzerk have been playing lights out Counter-Strike for COL and will face a tough test against m0NESY and company on Saturday.
It’s wild to see Complexity finding this much success since the departure of EliGE, but this starting five has really found its groove now that they’ve gotten some more experience together.
Top DFS & Betting Plays:
NiKo vs. FaZe
m0NESY vs. Complexity
Grim vs. G2
PGL Bucharest CS2 Picks: Friday, April 11th
We have reached the quarter-finals of PGL Bucharest, with the Counter-Strike play set to resume early on Friday morning for those in the USA.
Here’s the schedule for Friday’s CS2 action:
CS2 Preview (4/11/25)
GamerLegion vs. Falcons
3DMAX vs. FaZe
Complexity vs. Aurora
G2 vs. Virtus.pro
A quick look at the highest individual HLTV ratings at the tournament so far:
m0NESY (1.35)
HeavyGod (1.22)
NiKo (1.22)
woxic (1.22)
Grim (1.21)
hallzerk (1.20)
KSCERATO (1.20)
XANTERES (1.18)
Observations:
— Falcons picked up a great 2-1 series win over The MongolZ to book their spot in the quarters. degster was a hugely impactful player, while NiKo came up big once again in the victory. It’s going to be a tough battle against GamerLegion, a team with quite a bit of firepower and a great coach.
— We haven’t been too impressed by FaZe recently, even though the team picked up the 2-0 win over Apogee to book the spot in the playoffs. 3DMAX, meanwhile, has been playing cohesive CS and has a great shot at advancing in our opinion.
— Will Complexity keep the good times rolling against Aurora (formerly Eternal Fire)? This is a hard matchup, as the Turks have established themselves as one of the strongest, most consistent teams in the world.
— The day wraps up with G2 up against Virtus.pro, and yet again we can look towards m0NESY with confidence. He’s immensely skilled and tends to show up in the biggest moments.

NiKo vs. GamerLegion
m0NESY vs. Virtus.pro

PGL Bucharest CS2 Picks: Thursday, April 10th
Three more spots are up for grabs in the PGL playoffs. Who will advance and who will be eliminated?
Here’s the schedule for Thursday’s CS2 action:
CS2 Preview (4/10/25)
Astralis vs. Virtus.pro
Apogee vs. FaZe
Falcons vs. The MongolZ
A quick look at the highest individual HLTV ratings at the tournament so far:
m0NESY (1.35)
NiKo (1.23)
stavn (1.23)
HeavyGod (1.22)
woxic (1.22)
Grim (1.21)
hallzerk (1.20)
KSCERATO (1.20)
And here were yesterday’s top performers:
PGL Bucharest 2025 day 4 masterclass:
🇧🇦 NiKo – 1.65
🇳🇴 hallzerk – 1.52
🇸🇪 REZ – 1.51
🇲🇰 kyxsan – 1.50
🇹🇷 Wicadia – 1.49
🇩🇰 TeSeS – 1.49
🇲🇳 mzinho – 1.45
🇹🇷 XANTARES – 1.40
🇩🇰 stavn – 1.37
🇩🇰 Magisk – 1.35— statsmeister (@statsmeister1) April 9, 2025
Observations:
— Astralis/VP should be a pretty fun, competitive watch. Neither team has been all that impressive at this event so far, but stavn has stood out individually for Astralis. He currently has the third-highest HLTV rating at PGL Bucharest.
— In a highly-anticipated showdown against his former team, EliGE and FaZe fell short in a 2-0 loss to an in-form Complexity. We expect FaZe to bounce back with a series win over a young Apogee team on Thursday.
— The last matchup of the day is a great one, with Falcons and the MongolZ squaring off for a spot in the playoff stage. NiKo was sharp once again in the team’s easy win yesterday, but the competition level jumps up another level against The MongolZ, who we predict will survive here.
Top DFS & Betting Plays:
stavn vs. Virtus.pro
EliGE vs. Apogee
NiKo vs. The MongolZ

PGL Bucharest CS2 Picks: Wednesday, April 9th
Liquid and paiN are the first two teams to be eliminated from PGL Bucharest.
Here’s the schedule for Wednesday’s CS2 action:
CS2 Preview (4/9/25)
GamerLegion vs. Virtus.pro
Astralis vs. Legacy
Complexity vs. FaZe
Rare Atom vs. Falcons
Aurora vs. Apogee
FURIA vs. The MongolZ
Yesterday’s top performers:
PGL Bucharest 2025 day 3 masterclass:
🇺🇸 EliGE – 1.63
🇵🇱 Prism – 1.54
🇸🇰 frozen – 1.47
🇧🇦 NiKo – 1.43
🇷🇺 m0NESY – 1.38
🇮🇱 HeavyGod – 1.35
🇩🇰 karrigan – 1.35
🇵🇱 hypex – 1.34
🇺🇸 Grim – 1.30
🇹🇷 jottAAA – 1.28— statsmeister (@statsmeister1) April 8, 2025
A quick look at the highest individual HLTV ratings at the tournament so far:
m0NESY (1.35)
Grim (1.24)
KSCERATO (1.24)
PR (1.23)
woxic (1.22)
HeavyGod (1.22)
Observations:
— We’re most looking forward to Complexity/FaZe, with EliGE set to face off against his former team. Complexity has been looking a lot stronger at this event, and we expect a nice showing against FaZe on Wednesday. Grim has been performing much better since taking over more aggressive roles in this starting five.
— Falcons finally righted the ship with a 2-1 series win over paiN, thanks to NiKo leading the way once more. Can they stave off elimination against Rare Atom? There is now another rumor going around that Falcons are set to replace TeSeS with kyousuke, this news coming after the m0NESY bombshell not too long ago. Needless to say, it’s hard to expect a Falcons team firing at 100% given that 2/5 of the lineup is likely on the way out.
— One of the biggest surprises at PGL Bucharest has been Apogee, an all-Polish team that’s gone 2-1 so far. That said, it’s going to be a tough match against Aurora (formerly Eternal Fire), one of the favorites to win the entire event.
Top DFS & Betting Plays:
PR vs. Virtus.pro
NiKo vs. Rare Atom
Grim vs. FaZe
910 vs. FURIA
