We have another big LAN event starting up early on Wednesday. The world’s best teams will be in attendance, and the tournament will be split into two stages.
In the first stage, there will be 16 teams fighting it out for eight spots into Stage 2, where eight more elite squads await, including the likes of Vitality, FURIA, Spirit and Falcons.

My notes for these matchups:
— This will be BC.Game’s LAN debut, with the legendary s1mple set to take on Legacy. The early online results for BC.Game have been terrible with the new-look lineup, though, and this is a difficult opening matchup. We’ll be staying away from s1mple and company until they show a bit more fight.
— Liquid will be playing with a stand-in at this event. Krimbo will replace NAF, who is out due to a personal matter. At this level of competition, that can be hard to overcome, and NIP is a strong team.
— Even though there are some 2-0 predictions above, most of these matchups should be competitive. There aren’t really any slamdunk blowouts that we can see from a macro point of view.

Counter-Strike FAQ – CS2 DFS Pick’Em

What is Counter-Strike?
CS2 is a popular video game in which two teams play 5v5.
The first team to win 13 rounds wins that particular “map”, and there are best-of-one, best-of-three, and best-of-three series depending on the tournament.
To win a round, a team must eliminate all of the opposing players or complete a team objective.
For the CT (Counter-Terrorist) side, the team goal is to defuse the bomb if planted by the Terrorist (T) side. For the T side, the objective is to eliminate all five opposing CTs OR plant the bomb and protect it long enough for it to explode.
For DFS and betting purposes, you can either participate in DFS contests where you build a full lineup of CS2 players, or you can try to predict individual player performance.
Just like in traditional sports, there are star players who accumulate more fantasy points in general, and recent player/team form and matchups can play a huge role in deciphering the best plays on a day-to-day basis.
