Best individual performers from yesterday:
Top DFS Targets
A quick overview of our top player picks
donk vs. The MongolZ
Though Spirit has not looked as strong lately, donk is still the most talented player in all of Counter-Strike. He has by far the highest upside of anyone in CS2, even in tougher-than-usual team matchups.
m0NESY & kyousuke vs. Passion UA
We were surprised by Passion UA’s win over The MongolZ. We don’t expect a repeat against a much more talented Falcons team. This could be a blowout, and the likes of m0NESY, kyousuke and NiKo are all in play.
JamYoung vs. paiN
The most skilled player for TYLOO. This matchup could go either way in our estimation — either way, we expect JamYoung to get his.
Zyw0o vs. FURIA
Another close encounter can be expected here. These two just met in the Grand Finals of IEM, with FURIA emerging victorious, but Vitality is still a force to be reckoned with. ZywOo is a hugely talented, experienced player who consistently performs, and we also like ropz.
molodoy vs. Vitality
If targeting the FURIA side of this matchup, it’s hard to ignore what molodoy has been doing. He just won MVP at IEM and crushed a lot of the best teams in the process. We’ll be interested to see if there’s a hangover in this event.
Good luck!
Counter-Strike FAQ – CS2 DFS Pick’Em
Read on for more information on CS2 props and DFS pick’em.
What is Counter-Strike?
CS2 is a popular video game in which two teams play 5v5.
The first team to win 13 rounds wins that particular “map”, and there are best-of-one, best-of-three, and best-of-three series depending on the tournament.
To win a round, a team must eliminate all of the opposing players or complete a team objective.
For the CT (Counter-Terrorist) side, the team goal is to defuse the bomb if planted by the Terrorist (T) side. For the T side, the objective is to eliminate all five opposing CTs OR plant the bomb and protect it long enough for it to explode.
For DFS and betting purposes, you can either participate in DFS contests where you build a full lineup of CS2 players, or you can try to predict individual player performance.
Just like in traditional sports, there are star players who accumulate more fantasy points in general, and recent player/team form and matchups can play a huge role in deciphering the best plays on a day-to-day basis.
