Cleveland Cavaliers Props Preview
We’re waiting on significant injury news for the Cleveland Cavaliers at the moment. Sam Merrill has already been ruled out, while Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Jaylon Tyson are all questionable.
Regardless of who plays, this offense is going to run through Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley. De’Andre Hunter will also find big minutes, and he has an outstanding role.
Allen and Garland aren’t expected to play minutes into the 30s even if they’re healthy. They’ll likely hit in the high-20s tonight. Lonzo Ball and Dean Wade are two more players who are expected to find minutes in the 20s tonight.
Indiana Pacers Props Preview
The Indiana Pacers continue to deal with numerous injuries, but they recently got Benedict Mathurin back. The offense will run through him, Pascal Siakam, and Andrew Nembhard. They’re locked into solid minutes, and they’ll soak up most of the usage.
Ben Sheppard is the only other player who is safe to see bigger minutes, but he struggles to produce while on the floor. TJ McConnell, Jay Huff, Isaiah Jackson, Tony Bradley, and Jeremiah Earl-Robinson could also find minutes.
This is an extremely condensed offense, though, and it’s clear who’s going to lead the way.
Pacers vs Cavs Props and Picks Today
There are plenty of Indiana vs Cleveland player props to choose from on Underdog for Friday night’s slate of games. Let’s dive into the Pacers vs Cavs predictions!
Bennedict Mathurin Player Props – Higher Than 21.5 Points
Mathurin’s been limited by injury this season, but he’s been incredible when on the floor. He’s averaging 27.8 points in 33.0 minutes per game. He’s also averaging 15 FGA, 6.0 3PA, and 12.3 FTA per game.
The budding star has posted 24+ points in each of his four games this season. He’s also seen somewhat limited minutes at times, meaning he comes with drastically more upside.
Pascal Siakam Player Props – Higher Than 33.5 PRA
Siakam is also enjoying an outstanding season as a focal point of the offense. He’s averaging 24.7 points on 19.0 FGA, 5.5 3PA, and 7.9 FTA in 35.0 minutes per game. He’s also averaging 6.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists on 22.0 rebound chances and potential assists per game.
The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to be the worst defense in the NBA against power forwards. They’re giving up 45.8 PRA to the position, and Siakam is an extremely versatile player who can take advantage of this matchup.
Evan Mobley Player Props – Higher Than 28.5 PR
Mobley continues to find success, but he hasn’t jumped into the star category like many would expect. He’s averaging a healthy 18.8 points on 14.1 FGA, 4.6 3PA, and 6.4 FTA in 34.3 minutes per game. He’s also averaging 8.6 rebounds on a team-high 15.3 rebound chances per game.
Mobley gets a great matchup against the Indiana Pacers. They’ll look to push the pace, and they’re giving up 37.2 points and rebounds per game to opposing power forwards. Indiana has also struggled against centers, meaning Mobley will have an edge for as long as he’s on the floor.
