Nikola Jokic fell short by a single point/rebound/assist yesterday, but we were fortunate to even be close to hitting considering the game went into overtime and the slow start from the Joker.

Let’s see what Monday’s sizable NBA slate has to offer on PrizePicks.

NBA Pick Today (PrizePicks):

We’re going back to the well with Cade Cunningham in what should be a fun encounter against LeBron, AD and the Lakers in Los Angeles this evening.

Props.com is committed to bringing you FREE high-quality NBA PrizePicks picks and analysis every day this season.

The PRA projection on PrizePicks NBA remains at 38.5 for Cunningham even though he has been eclipsing that number regularly.

We’re big believers in the 23-year-old guard’s talent. He’s averaged 23.9 points, 9.7 assists and 7.0 rebounds per 36 minutes through 25 games (via Basketball Reference), and those assist and rebound numbers would be career highs if the season ended today.

Detroit has been surprising some people this season and we’re expecting another hard-fought performance on the road tonight, with Cunningham being a driving force again.

Top Play: Cade Cunningham MORE Than 38.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Demon NEW: Demon Plays

For those newer to PrizePicks, a demon is a higher-reward pick similar to an alternate line. In this section, we’ll examine any standout demon plays for the day.

Victor Wembanyama MORE Than 44.5 PRA
Standard Projection: 36.5

Our first demon pick is on Wemby against Joel Embiid and the 76ers. Get your popcorn ready for this matchup between two of the game’s best bigs 🍿

Props.com is committed to bringing you FREE high-quality NBA PrizePicks picks and analysis every day this season.

In only his second year as a pro, Wembanyama is putting up 27.4 points, 11.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per 36 minutes, according to Basketball Reference. His immense upside makes him an appealing demon selection.

LaMelo Ball MORE Than 5.5 3-Pointers Made
Standard Projection: 2.5

We don’t typically love targeting players against the Rockets, but LaMelo Ball’s usage is so ridiculous that we’re making an exception.

If there is one thing we know about Ball, it’s that he’s not afraid to chuck it. He’s averaging 13.1 three-point attempts per game so far this season, on pace to be a career-high number.

It doesn’t hurt fellow usage hog Brandon Miller is expected to miss this game at home.

Good luck and enjoy the action tonight!

NBA PrizePicks Today: Sunday, December 22

Every day throughout the regular season and playoffs, we run through our favorite NBA PrizePicks plays. Picks and analysis are typically posted by 1 PM ET.

A small slate of games on football Sunday. There is still a play that stands out to us on Sunday night.

NBA Pick Today (PrizePicks):

We’re backing Nikola Jokic to have another huge stat-stuffing performance on the road against the Pelicans.

Jokic is averaging 30.0 points (a career-high if the season ended today), 12.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists per 36 minutes this season, according to Basketball Reference.

So while this PRA number may seem lofty, Jokic has blown past this number countless times before. The big man should be able to dominate in all facets against New Orleans tonight.

Good luck!

Top Play: Nikola Jokic MORE Than 50.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

NBA PrizePicks Today: Saturday, December 21

Every day throughout the regular season and playoffs, we run through our favorite NBA PrizePicks plays. Picks and analysis are typically posted by 1 PM ET.

MORE PROPS: NFL | NBA | NHL | PGA | CFB

It’s been a pretty good run of top plays, and we’re eager to try to keep it going on Saturday! We have a monster 12-game slate, so there’s a lot to dive into.

NBA Pick Today (PrizePicks):

A lot of choices, but one of our top plays is Cade Cunningham on the road against Kevin Durant and the Suns, who will be without Devin Booker.

He’s featured in this space a few times this season already, but for good reason. Cunningham is a top-tier talent who consistently hogs offensive usage, and he can contribute in so many ways.

Via Basketball Reference, Cunningham has been good for 23.7 points, 9.5 assists and 7.3 rebounds per 36 minutes through 26 games this season.

We expect a hard fight out of the Pistons in this matchup with Phoenix (they are six-point underdogs in a game with a total of 225 points), primarily because of how strongly we believe in the versatile guard.

Top Play: Cade Cunningham MORE Than 38.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

NBA PrizePicks Today: Friday, December 20

Every day throughout the regular season and playoffs, we run through our favorite NBA PrizePicks plays. Picks and analysis are typically posted by 1 PM ET.

MORE PROPS: NFL | NBA | NHL | PGA | CFB

There are only three games on the NBA schedule today, which is a bit disappointing considering how busy Fridays normally are in the association.

Alas, we’ll still try to pick out some winners on PrizePicks. Let’s get to it!

NBA Pick Today (PrizePicks):

As mentioned, the options are limited because of the smaller slate. Of the projections listed, we do like Jalen Williams’ PRA number in this road test at Miami.

While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander rightly gets a ton of plaudits, we can’t lose sight of the role Williams has played in Oklahoma City’s success so far this season.

Williams is averaging career-highs in points (23.8), rebounds (6.6) and assists (5.7) per 36 minutes in his third year as a pro, per Basketball Reference. With Chet Holmgren still sidelined, he should continue to see elevated usage alongside SGA.

Top Play: Jalen Williams MORE Than 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Demon NEW: Demon Plays

For those newer to PrizePicks, a demon is a higher-reward pick similar to an alternate line. In this section, we’ll examine any standout demon plays for the day.

Donovan Mitchell MORE Than 29.5 Points

Standard Projection: 24 Points

As a heads up, we are not in love with this trio of games generally, but this points projection on Donovan Mitchell is somewhat intriguing.

Props.com is committed to bringing you FREE high-quality NBA PrizePicks picks and analysis every day this season.

Mitchell is a matchup nightmare for the Bucks backcourt, and we know he’s capable of going off for 30+ in any given game.

Demon Play: Donovan Mitchell MORE Than 29.5 Points

Tips On Placing NBA PrizePicks Today

Now, let’s dive into the how-to. With PrizePicks, you can select between 2 to 6 player stats for your entry. While choosing 2 or 3 stats is generally safer, opting for 5 or 6 can lead to significantly higher payouts.

Search and Select with Ease

Looking for a specific player? Simply type their name in the search bar. Or, if you prefer, browse our “board” of squares, neatly organized by league and stat category.

Mix And Match Different Sports

PrizePicks isn’t just about basketball. It encompasses a vast array of sports, including NFL, MLB, NHL, WNBA, College Sports, PGA, Tennis, and various esports. In some states, college basketball and college football player props are available as well. Each sport comes with its own set of stat categories.

For the NBA, these include points, rebounds, assists, combined stats (points + rebounds + assists), fantasy points, free throws, and three-pointers.

Your entry must include at least two props, but you can mix and match sports along the way. For example, you don’t have to select two NBA props for a valid entry. You can select one NBA and one NFL (or MLB, NHL, etc) — just as long as you pick higher or lower on 2-to-6 valid player props.

Flex Plays vs. Power Plays

Power plays are ideal for the confident bettor. Remember, it’s all or nothing here. Every pick must win for a payout, but the rewards are substantial, with 4-Pick Power Plays offering 10X your money.

Flex plays are more forgiving and suitable for those who prefer a safety net. Even with one or two misses in your picks, you can still earn a payout. For instance, achieving 6/6 in a 6-Pick Flex Play can pay out 25X, while 5/6 still doubles your investment.

How To Use This NBA PrizePicks Cheat Sheet

Our NBA PrizePicks cheat sheet provides a daily analysis of our best PrizePicks NBA projections.

It’s important to be aware of the strategies involved in basketball, such as how injuries and other factors can temporarily affect a player’s statistics.

For instance, if LeBron James missed 7 out of the last 10 Lakers games due to injury, Anthony Davis likely assumed a greater scoring role for Los Angeles. If James is set to return for the upcoming game, Davis might relinquish some scoring duties back to him, potentially skewing his points projection from the last 10 games.

Always make sure to review the injury report and conduct thorough research alongside our NBA PrizePicks picks cheat sheet, which serves as a foundational starting point for your analysis.
