Falcons vs 49ers props - Bijan Robinson player props - Sunday Night Football

The injury report for every 49ers’ game looks like a CVS receipt, but that makes for some fun decisions when debating which player props to pick for Sunday Night Football this weekend. Let’s dive into my best Falcons vs 49ers props and, more specifically, some Bijan Robinson player props.

Falcons vs 49ers Props – Sunday, October 19

Atlanta—outside of that inexplicable shutout loss to Carolina in September (seriously, what the heck was that?) has looked pretty solid.

They pushed Tampa in Week 1, played sloppy but competitive against Minnesota, and just went into Buffalo and dominated a banged-up Bills front seven 24-14 on Monday Night Football.

On the flip side, the 49ers are still winning games. Mac Jones has been shockingly competent—dare I say good?—in his time as San Francisco’s starting quarterback.

Falcons Props and Preview

Bijan Robinson is putting together another elite season. The Falcons’ tailback is averaging 5.8 yards per carry and has logged 484 rushing yards through six games.

Against Buffalo’s depleted defense last week, he absolutely cooked, showing that perfect blend of patience and explosion that makes him one of the most dangerous backs in football.

Drake London has been the other constant for Atlanta’s offense. With 53 targets and 427 receiving yards, he’s clearly Michael Penix’s security blanket and go-to playmaker.

Ray-Ray McCloud won’t play this week. He was allegedly sent home for some mysterious “private matter” earlier this week that nobody’s really elaborating on.

Darnell Mooney is questionable, though head coach Raheem Morris said he’s “feeling good” about Mooney suiting up Sunday.

And speaking of stepping up… Kyle Pitts has flashed here and there, but let’s be honest—we’ve heard this story every preseason for three years now. He’s a “generational talent” who’s going to “finally break out.”

At some point, we need to accept what he is: a decent receiving tight end who’s never going to live up to the all-time hype he once had.

The jury’s still out on this Falcons offense beyond Bijan and London. Can they sustain drives without a third legitimate receiving threat? We’re about to find out against a 49ers defense that just lost its defensive captain.

49ers Props and Preview

Brock Purdy is out again with that nagging toe injury, and Ricky Pearsall won’t play again this week.

And in the biggest blow of all, the Niners lost Fred Warner last week. That’s their defensive quarterback, their signal-caller, their everything on that side of the ball. Losing Warner against a runner like Robinson is basically a nightmare scenario.

Offensively, it’s been a proof of concept for Kyle Shanahan’s system. Put Mac Jones in Jacksonville or New England or wherever, and he’s a mediocre backup at best. Put him in Shanahan’s scheme with elite weapons, and he suddenly looks like a legitimate NFL starting quarterback.

The biggest boost for San Francisco? George Kittle is back. The All-Pro tight end tore his hamstring earlier this season but apparently had “a really good rehab” and claims he’s “100 percent” after missing time.

When healthy, Kittle is one of the most dynamic receiving threats in football—a nightmare matchup for linebackers and a security blanket for his quarterback. His return couldn’t come at a better time with Pearsall out and the receiving corps banged up.

These projections are all in play at Underdog Fantasy.

Bijan Robinson Player Props: Higher Than 75.5 Rushing Yards

best falcons vs 49ers props -bijan robinson player props

This is my favorite play of the night, and it’s not particularly close. Atlanta’s going to lean heavily on Bijan against a 49ers defense that just lost Fred Warner.

Atlanta is a zone-run team, and the 49ers have been much worse against that scheme compared to man-gap runs this season, according to Fantasy Points.

The Falcons know they need to establish the run to keep Mac Jones and that Niners offense off the field.

Offensive coordinator Zac Robinson will dial up plenty of carries for his star back, and at that volume, Bijan cruises past 75.5 yards. In fact, you can make a case for all Bijan Robinson player props on SNF.

Drake London Player Props: Higher Than 71.5 Receiving Yards

London has 53 targets through six games—a hefty number that reflects his role as Michael Penix’s primary target. With Ray-Ray McCloud definitely out and Darnell Mooney questionable (even if he plays, he might be limited), London could see double-digit targets on Sunday night.

It seems chalky to back both Atlanta studs, but there is such a condensed share of volume for these two players against an average San Francisco defense.

George Kittle Player Props: Higher Than 51.5 Receiving Yards

Here’s where it gets interesting. Kittle’s back from injury and claims he’s 100 percent healthy. Mac Jones historically loves throwing to tight ends (hello, Hunter Henry in New England), and Kittle represents his safety valve against Atlanta’s aggressive defense.

The line at 51.5 feels slightly low given Kittle’s role in this offense and the fact that Pearsall is out. Someone needs to fill those targets.
