COLSTON LOVELAND MORE THAN 26.5 RECEIVING YARDS
Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland continues to grow into a key role in Chicago’s passing attack as the season progresses. The first-round pick has earned the trust of the coaching staff and quarterback Caleb Williams, logging at least a 62% snap share in five straight games while consistently making his presence felt in the receiving game. Over the last four matchups, Loveland has posted at least 27 receiving yards each time, demonstrating a stable floor and steadily increasing involvement.
The underlying usage data only strengthens his projection. During the past five weeks, Loveland ranks third on the team in routes run (123), second in target share (14.2%), and he actually leads the Bears in receptions with 19 over that span. That level of involvement is impressive for a rookie tight end and highlights the growing chemistry between him and Williams.
In Week 12, Loveland draws a highly favorable matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh has allowed the most passing yards in the NFL this season and has particularly struggled against tight ends, surrendering the sixth-most receiving yards to the position. Given that the Steelers are far more vulnerable through the air than on the ground, the Bears are likely to lean pass-heavy to sustain drives and stay efficient.
With his role expanding and the matchup tilting strongly toward the passing game, Loveland is in excellent position to clear 26.5 receiving yards for the fifth consecutive week.
MATTHEW STAFFORD MORE THAN 256.5 PASSING YARDS
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has been nothing short of brilliant this season, and he continues to build a strong case for the league’s MVP award. Even at 37 years old, he remains one of the NFL’s most dynamic passers, ranking fifth in passing yards per game while consistently pushing the ball downfield with confidence. He now draws one of the best matchups a quarterback can ask for, facing a Tampa Bay defense that has turned into a clear pass funnel once again this year.
The Buccaneers are stout against the run, allowing the 10th-fewest rushing yards in the league. However, that success in the trenches has come at the cost of their secondary, which has surrendered the sixth-most passing yards this season. Teams simply attack Tampa Bay through the air, and Stafford is built to take advantage of that defensive identity.
Stafford is averaging just under 256 passing yards per game and has surpassed this week’s projection in half of his contests. With a high 49.5-point total in a controlled environment at SoFi Stadium, offensive efficiency should be elevated throughout the night. The Rams are currently favored by seven points, signaling a competitive matchup that should keep Stafford active deep into the game rather than turning to the run in the second half.
With a favorable dome setting, elite pass volume expectation, and a defense that encourages opponents to throw, Stafford is well-positioned to clear 256.5 passing yards on Sunday night and strengthen his growing MVP campaign in the process.
