Week 2 is wrapping up, and there are some very intriguing Monday NFL Alt Props to hunt for in the Texans vs. Bucs and Raiders vs. Chargers football games.
The beauty of alt prop line betting is that you can target the exact scenarios you’re most confident about.
For example, if you think Mike Evans is going to absolutely torch Houston’s secondary, why settle for his typical receiving yards line when you can bump it up to 100+ yards and get way juicier odds?
Our betting expert Justin Bales is here to break it all down for Monday’s prime time double-header.

Monday NFL Alt Props: Prime Time Doubleheader – September 15
We’re spoiled, and we have two games to choose from for our Monday NFL Alt props picks.
The Texans will host the Bucs at 7 p.m. EST, while the Raiders will battle the Chargers in an AFC West clash for the nightcap.
Xavier Hutchinson Receiving Yards Ladder
This is a relatively simple play. I want someone who will be on the field, giving them the chance to find success. We’re getting too good of odds on a player locked into snaps, even if he isn’t a major part of the offense.

Christian Kirk was ruled out last week, and he’ll be out again in Week 2. The Houston Texans only threw the ball 27 times last season, limiting potential receiving for their entire group. Hutchinson ranked second on the team, posting 30 yards on 2 receptions.
The key here is that Hutchinson is locked into a solid role. Nico Collins is obviously the WR1, and he’s going to get his fair share of looks regardless of the defense. Hutchinson ranked second on the team in routes (23).
The Texans’ entire passing game struggled in Week 1, and I expect them to find more success against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week. They should focus on Collins as the clear alpha WR, leaving Hutchinson with 1-on-1 coverage throughout the game.
Where to Bet: Xavier Hutchinson 15+ receiving yards (-137) through 50+ receiving yards (+690) | Ladder at DraftKings Sportsbook
Quentin Johnston Receiving Yards Ladder
Johnston isn’t the most consistent option because of his role in the Los Angeles Chargers’ offense. He’s a big-play threat with outstanding speed, and that’s what makes him such a great ladder option.
The world is too low on Johnston because of his drops. He looked great in Week 1, posting 5 receptions for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns on 7 targets. He also ranked second on the team in routes (36).
Johnston is a former first-round pick, and there aren’t many people who question his talent. The Chargers showed us they feel comfortable with him playing a massive role for them in an important game in Week 1. That’s all I need to see.
The receiver gets a plus matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders this week. They aren’t a defense I’d shy away from, and we saw them give up big plays in Week 1.
Kayshon Boutte is the big-play threat for the New England Patriots, and he posted 6 receptions for 103 yards on 8 targets against Las Vegas in Week 1.
Johnston is the type of player that can beat the start of this ladder with one reception, and we’re getting too good of odds for his potential target share.
Where to Bet: Quentin Johnston 40+ receiving yards (-136) through 90+ receiving yards (+630) | Ladder at FanDuel Sportsbook
