What Is DFS Pick’Em?
As you may know, daily fantasy sports (DFS) picks have moved beyond simple tournaments and cash games.
Many DFS apps now offer more unique contests similar to player props in sports betting. They’re excellent alternatives if you don’t have legal sports betting sites in your state.
Even if you do have access to legal online sportsbooks, you might like DFS pick’em for something new. DFS sites have borrowed elements from the sports betting world to create engaging pick’em contests.
Pick’em requires you to choose “higher” or “lower” on player stats, such as points, rebounds, and three-pointers. For example, you may pick LeBron James to finish with more than 24.5 points on a certain site.
Very similar to prop bets available at legal online sportsbooks, it’s a perfect substitute for sports betting if you don’t have regulated sportsbooks in your state and may even be the preferable option.
