NFL Week 6 Injury Report: Top Value Player Prop Targets

Sam Pasco analyses three key matchups in Week 6 and breaks down his best bets.

You can find a more in-depth look at the key injuries for the week below:

Game 1: Cincinnati Bengals @ New York Giants

Overview of the Game

The Bengals are desperate to turn their season around, sitting at 1-4, while the Giants (2-3) aim to build momentum after a gritty win over Seattle. The Bengals enter as 3.5-point favorites, largely due to their high-powered offense, but also in part because of the absence of Malik Nabers (concussion) which will shift the passing game dynamics for the Giants.

Injury Impact and Prop Betting Opportunities

With Malik Nabers out, Darius Slayton and Wan’Dale Robinson are primed to take on increased roles in the Giants’ passing game. Slayton, in particular, has seen a spike in production, hitting the over on 48.5 receiving yards in his last two games. His chemistry with Daniel Jones and the Bengals’ weak secondary makes Slayton Over 48.5 Receiving Yards (-114) a top prop bet. Additionally, Jones has leaned on Robinson heavily at home, and with the Bengals’ defense struggling, Robinson Over 56.5 Rush + Rec Yards (-115) is a solid play.

Best Bets:

Darius Slayton Over 48.5 Receiving Yards

Wan’Dale Robinson Over 56.5 Rushing + Reception Yards

Game 2: New England Patriots vs. Houston Texans

Overview of the Game

The 4-1 Texans are off to a stellar start, and they face a struggling 1-4 Patriots team. Houston’s balanced offense, led by C.J. Stroud, will look to exploit a Patriots defense that has been porous against the pass, while New England is starting rookie QB Drake Maye for the first time.

Injury Impact and Prop Betting Opportunities

Rhamondre Stevenson’s absence (foot) opens the door for Antonio Gibson to lead the Patriots’ backfield. Gibson has been efficient with his carries, and Houston’s defense allows 120.2 rushing yards per game, positioning Gibson Over 48.5 Rush Yards (-113) as a value prop.

For Houston, Nico Collins is out, leaving Stefon Diggs as the primary target in the passing game. Diggs has cleared 61.5 receiving yards in three straight games and is in a favorable matchup against the Patriots’ struggling secondary. Bet Diggs Over 59.5 Receiving Yards (-115) with confidence, as Stroud will look his way often.

Best Bets:

Antonio Gibson Over 48.5 Rushing Yards

Stefon Diggs Over 59.5 Receiving Yards

Game 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints

Overview of the Game

The Saints, coming off a three-game losing streak, are in a tough spot without Derek Carr, who is out with an oblique injury. Rookie Spencer Rattler will start under center, which could result in a conservative game plan. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers, led by Baker Mayfield, aim to get back on track after a narrow overtime loss to Atlanta.

Injury Impact and Prop Betting Opportunities

With Carr sidelined, expect the Saints to rely heavily on Alvin Kamara both on the ground and through the air. Kamara has surpassed 33.5 receiving yards in his last four games, and with a rookie quarterback under center, dump-offs to Kamara will be frequent. Kamara Over 33.5 Receiving Yards (-113) is a strong bet. Additionally, Kamara Over 106.5 Rush + Rec Yards (-114) is a number he’s hit in his last 3 home games, offers great value as he will be the focal point of the Saints’ offense.

Best Bets:

Alvin Kamara Over 33.5 Receiving Yards

Alvin Kamara Over 106.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
