This article aims to highlight the best NFL parlays this week…for every week of the NFL season (and playoffs). Of course, these NFL parlay picks are subject to opinion, but we’ll provide betting angles, insight, and rationale into these selections.

NFL parlay construction is the focus of this article. Every week, we will attempt to balance the risk/reward conundrum associated with parlay betting.

Let’s take a look at how these NFL parlay bets are put together.

NFL Parlay Picks: Overview

Below, we highlight a pair of NFL parlays for the week: one safe choice and one longshot slip.

Every bettor has their own risk tolerance, which is why we are listing examples of both strategies. Gauging your risk preference and combining these recommendations with your own hunches is the best way to approach this article.

Safe NFL Parlay: Conference Championship

  • Leg 1: 49ers +8.5
  • Leg 2: Bengals +7

NFL Parlay Odds: -134 at FanDuel Sportsbook

Let’s get one thing straight: there’s no such thing as a “safe” NFL parlay. That’s especially true when you pile on more than two legs. Having said that, these NFL parlay picks are “relatively safe” in the grand scheme of things. You’ll usually see moneyline favorites rolled into a parlay in this section.

This is a two-leg teaser at FanDuel Sportsbook, which is technically a parlay of alternate spreads. Both of these games should be extremely close with potential to swing either way. Because of that, we can take both underdogs and tease them up six points to key numbers. San Francisco becomes +8.5 at Philadelphia, and the Bengals are +7 at Kansas City.

This isn’t anything fancy, but it’s a logical approach to betting these Conference Championship games.

Longshot NFL Parlay: Divisional Round

  • Leg 1: Eagles win by 1-13 points (+150)
  • Leg 2: Samaje Perine over 2.5 receptions (+116)

NFL Parlay Odds: +440 at FanDuel Sportsbook

None of these NFL parlay picks are longshots in and of themselves. However, putting them together gives us longshot odds at +476. Feel free to draw inspiration from this NFL parlay and substitute your favorite picks where you see fit.

Leg 1: Eagles win by 1-13 points (+150) | Saturday at 3:00 p.m. ET

We already established that both of these games will be close. I still like the Eagles to pull out a home win, though. This is essentially like taking the 49ers +13.5 with the caveat that San Francisco cannot win the game outright. The second part of that equation is risky, but that’s why we are getting +150 odds here.

Leg 2: Perine over 2.5 receptions (+116) | Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET

I like this prop, especially for plus money. You can bet this separately or part of a parlay. Kansas City has allowed the most receptions to running backs this year. Perine is fresh off a 5 reception, 5 target game against Buffalo last week.

How To Bet NFL Parlays

If you want to bet on NFL parlays, there are a few things you need to know. First of all, a parlay is simply a bet that combines two or more individual wagers into one single bet. For example, you could bet on the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Jets to both win their respective games. If they both win, then you would win your parlay bet. However, if just one team loses, then you would lose your entire parlay bet.

NFL Parlay Tips To Win

Here are some tips to remember when assembling your NFL parlay picks for the week:

Find The Best Line

Another key to successful NFL parlay betting is to shop around for the best lines. Different sportsbooks will often have different lines on the same games. So, it is important that you shop around and find the best line possible before placing your bet. This may take some time, but it will be well worth it in the end if you win your bet.

Don’t Go Crazy

With every leg you add to a parlay, the risk climbs as well. Sure, you will receive heightened odds when adding more picks to your parlay slip, but this is a balancing act where you don’t want to have too much risk. Because of that, it usually makes sense to stick to parlays of 2-to-4 picks.

You’ll often see sportsbooks share bet slips of one of their customers hitting a 14-leg NFL parlay. Do you ever wonder why they do that? It’s because these are improbable lottery tickets that are profitable for the sportsbook. They want people to place 10+ leg parlays. Don’t fall into that trap.

Check Your Emotions (And Bankroll)

Betting parlays can be emotionally taxing. Be sure to only bet what you can afford to lose. Understand that NFL parlay bets have more risk than regular straight bets, so there’s a chance you could have several losing weeks in a row. Keeping a level head during the inevitable downswing is important.

Some people chase their losses by irrationally betting more, which is something that is best to avoid. Make a plan going into the season. Set a budget and stick to it.
