Welcome to Longshot Logic, where each day I’m going to pick a longshot parlay, using … well, something a little less than logic.
But then we will let logic take over in the form of Gambly and ask it to give us its own math-based longshot parlay.

Longshot Logic: Thursday, December 5th

Who will reign supreme between man and machine? Well, hopefully both of us over the long term, but in the interest of my ego, I kind of hope it’s me.
Thursday, December 5th NFL/NBA Preview
Today, I’m going to BetMGM to do a little cross-sport player props parlay, starting with Isaiah Hartenstein to go over 1.5 blocks against the Toronto Raptors at +140.
Hartenstein has averaged a little under a block per game in his career, but the Raptors are averaging nearly three shots blocked per game, third only to Houston. Meanwhile, Hartenstein is seeing 30 minutes per game so far this year, more than five minutes more than he’s ever averaged.
Hartenstein is leg one, and leg two will take us to Detroit, where I’m going to add both Jameson Williams (+200) and Christian Watson (+225) to find the endzone tonight.
Both the Lions and Packers are dealing with injuries to on the defensive side of the ball, and I like the idea of this game shooting out. And these are the two big-play receivers.
Mash it together, we’re at +1220.
Over at Gambly, we asked for the best-looking – by expected ROI – +1200 or so player prop parlay on the evening, and it gave us this three-point barrage at DraftKings:
The robots’ +1311 parlay picks for tonight’s NBA action:
OG Anunoby over 1.5 threes at +140
Jamal Murray over 2.5 threes at +140
Luguentz Dort over 2.5 threes at +145
It should be noted Gambly recently added operators like Underdog and PrizePicks also, making the product that much more helpful for finding value.
Thursday Longshot Parlays:
