The Hornets are a young team with a shockingly short rotation. Brandon Miller is injured, which is thrusting fellow rookie Kon Knueppel into bigger minutes. LaMelo Ball, Collin Sexton, and Miles Bridges are the other players playing big minutes in this rotation.
The Heat have a much deeper rotation than the Hornets. Normal Powell and Bam Adebayo are the two focal points of the offense. They’ll consistently have the biggest roles in the rotation.

Andrew Wiggins, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Davion Mitchell all have defined roles in the Heat rotation. Nikola Jovic can be lumped into that group, although he feels riskier than the other three options.
The rotation is rounded out with Simone Fontecchio, Kel’el Ware, and Dru Smith. This is a team that is deep with several players who can make an impact, even in a short amount of time.

Charlotte is splitting minutes at center between Ryan Klakbrenner and Moussa Diabate. It’s the only position that doesn’t have a true “focal point” to play the majority of the minutes.

Adebayo has been extremely inefficient this season, but he boasts an outstanding role in this offense. Overall, he’s averaging 19.3 points per game. He’s also averaging a team-high 15.7 FGA, 6.0 3PA, and 6.3 FTA in 33.6 minutes per game. He’s shooting only 36.2% from the field this season, and he should find more efficiency in this matchup.
Kon Knueppel Player Props – Higher Than 15.5 Points + Assists
Knueppel is another player who will see a bigger role with Brandon Miller injured, but he isn’t a focal point of this offense. He’s coming off his best game as a pro, scoring 20 points against the Washington Wizards. He’s also due for some positive assist regression, as he’s averaging 1.5 assists on 5.5 potential assists per game over his last two contests.
