Saquon Barkley Rushing Yards Ladder
Barkley’s enjoying an elite season for the Philadelphia Eagles. He’s posted 991 yards and 6 touchdowns on 171 carries through nine games. He’s also posted 100+ yards in five of his nine games, including 176 yards against the New York Giants.
Barkley’s recorded 570 yards after the contact, which totals 57.5% of his total rushing yards. He’s also forced 30 missed tackles in 2024. Finally, he’s recorded 403 breakaway yards this season.
Barkley gets an elite matchup against the Washington Commanders tonight. They’re allowing the sixth-most rushing yards (116.8) per game to opposing running backs. More importantly, Washington is allowing 5.0 yards per carry this season.
Philadelphia currently ranks fourth in the NFL in yards before contact (1.71) per carry. Washington is allowing a league-high 1.69 yards before contact per carry. Barkley is going to benefit greatly from the yards gained via the offensive line in this game.
Here’s how other running backs have performed against the Commanders this season:
- Najee Harris (66 yards), Jaylen Warren (53)
- Tyrone Tracy (66), Devin Singletary (33)
- D’Andre Swift (129)
- Chuba Hubbard (52), Miles Sander (34)
- Derrick Henry (132)
- Jerome Ford (47), D’Onta Foreman (44)
- James Conner (104), Trey Benson (50)
- Chase Brown (62), Zack Moss (58)
- Devin Singletary (95)
- Bucky Irving (62), Rachaad White (31)
We’ve consistently seen workhorse running backs dominate Washington. Duos have also found plenty of success against them. Barkley should see 20+ carries in this game, and we recently saw him record 27 carries against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Eagles are currently 3.5-point favorites in this game, meaning Barkley could see carries from the start to the finish, making him an elite option to post 100+ yards again.
What to bet: Saquon Barkley 100+ rushing yards through 120+ rushing yards
