Bam Adebayo More Than 20.5 PA

Adebayo’s seen plenty of ups and downs for the Miami Heat this season. He’s averaging 16.3 points and 3.9 assists in 35.3 minutes per game. He’s also been scoring better in recent games, posting 20+ points in four of his last six contests.

Adebayo hasn’t been overly efficient in the 2024-25 season. He’s averaging 14.1 FGA, 2.5 3PA, and 5.0 FTA per game, although he’s shooting under 45% from the field. He also ranks fourth on the team with 6.2 potential assists per game.

Adebayo gets an outstanding matchup against the Dallas Mavericks today. They’re giving up the third-most points (25.8) per game to opposing centers this season. The Mavs are also allowing the third-most assists (5.0) per game to the position.

Adebayo’s points are set at 17.5, which means his assists are projected for only 3. Oddly enough, he’s posted 3+ assists in 10 of his last 12 games, including several games with 7 assists. There’s very little reason they should be set this low, but he also has the potential to beat this number with only his points.

We’re getting them together because we’re just looking for Adebayo to be involved in the offense today. That’s what I’m expecting, and this is a shockingly low total for the matchup.

De’Aaron Fox More Than 27.5 Points

Fox is enjoying another elite season for the Sacramento Kings. He’s averaging 28.8 points in 37.8 minutes per game. He’s also averaging 20.8 FGA, 6.2 3PA, and 6.8 FTA per game this season.

Fox hasn’t been the most consistent scorer because of a lack of elite volume. He’s been heating up recently, averaging 39.0 points per game over his last five contests. He’s topped out at 60 points only four games ago against the Minnesota Wolves.

Fox gets a great matchup against the Brooklyn Nets tonight. They’ve struggled against the point guard, allowing the fifth-most points (26.5) per game to the position this season. The Nets aren’t allowing a ton of three-pointers to point guards, though, which plays into how the Sacramento star wants to score.

This is a high total for someone who isn’t always guaranteed elite volume. I expect him to continue to take over games until this hot streak ends, though. He’s scored 28+ points in each of his last five games, and there isn’t anyone on the Brooklyn team who has the defensive chops to slow him down in this game.

Fox is a bit risky, but he comes with elite upside, and he’ll easily beat this number if he gets enough volume.
