Free NBA Pick’Em Plays For Tuesday, December 2nd
Let’s dive into the good stuff. Check out our favorite picks for some of the major prop markets today.
Best Points Prop: Tyrese Maxey > 31.5 Points
Maxey has been phenomenal for the Sixers this season, averaging a career-high 32.3 points per game on 30.2% usage. Joel Embiid has been ruled out, Paul George is listed as questionable, and Quinten Grimes got the dreaded midday downgrade to questionable.
Maxey should play massive minutes again, and he gets one of the best possible matchups against Washington.
Best Rebounds Prop: Saddiq Bey > 5.5 Rebounds
The Pelicans are off to a disappointing start this season, but Saddiq Bey’s resurgence has been a bright spot. The 26-year-old has been fantastic since moving back into the starting lineup. In his last five starts, Bey has averaged 19.8 points and 10.4 rebounds.
Trey Murphy and Zion Williamson have a chance to return tonight, so Bey may lose some usage, but he should continue to be a monster on the glass for a team that has desperately needed a rebounder.
Best Assists Prop: Immanuel Quickley > 6.5 Assists
Quickley gets one of the best spots of the night against a Portland team that plays extremely fast (3rd in pace) and has struggled to defend the perimeter since Jrue Holiday went down with an injury.
In eight games without Holiday, Portland has still played fast (4th), but the team ranks just 20th in defensive rating.
Top Ladder Pick Today: Zach Edey > 11.5 Rebounds
Edey has been absolutely smashing higher than projections in the last three games, averaging 17.0 rebounds in 32 minutes per game. His base projection is set at just 11.5 rebounds today for a meeting with San Antonio, which looks like a tough matchup on paper.
However, San Antonio has been one of the worst rebounding teams in the league since Victor Wembanyama went down with an injury. I would play this all the way up to 19+ rebounds, which is available around 12-1 odds.
You can play Edey up to higher than 17.5 rebounds (3.49x) on Underdog.
Underdog Fantasy Points Pick: Deni Avdija
Higher Than 44.65 Fantasy Points
Blazers forward Deni Avdija is coming off a massive performance against what is not only the top defense this season, but one of the better units we have seen in a long time.
The OKC defense is seven points better (per 100 possessions) than the next best unit in the league, and Avdija torched them for 70.8 fantasy points in his last game. Avdija has also topped 44.65 fantasy points against San Antonio and Golden State within the last two weeks.
