The Spurs have been treading water without Wemby, going 2-3 in their last five. But here’s the kicker: they’re 8-2 at home. De’Aaron Fox (24.1 PPG) has been doing his thing, but can he carry an offense that’s missing its 7’4″ cheat code? The last time they played at home, they beat the Hawks by 9. This team has a pulse in their own building.
Now, check this out. The Grizzlies have been on a bizarrely successful road trip, winning three straight away games (Mavs, Clippers, Kings) since Morant went down. They’re 5-2 without him in this stretch.
This makes absolutely zero sense, which is exactly why I love it. Rookie center Zach Edey just dropped a 32-point career-high on the Kings. The market has no idea how to price this team right now. They’re playing with house money and a ton of confidence.
Spurs vs Grizzlies Expert Picks – Player Prop Bets & Predictions
My gut keeps screaming that the Grizzlies are a live dog here. Getting +180 on a team that’s on a 3-game road winning streak is spicy. They are playing loose, and the emergence of Edey gives them an interior presence that the short-handed Spurs might struggle with.
But betting against an 8-2 home team is a tough pill to swallow, especially when they have the best player on the floor in De’Aaron Fox.
