That said, they’re miles ahead of where they were last year, so we gotta respect the progress.
But here’s where it gets spicy – their defense is hurting. They’re missing THREE linebackers. THREE! And their run defense? It’s been straight-up atrocious all season long.

Now let’s talk about the man, the myth, the legend – Saquon Barkley. Look, he’s not having a BAD season by any means, but the bar got set astronomically high after his historic 2024 campaign.
And yeah, you can point fingers everywhere – the playcalling has been terrifyingly bad, Nick Sirianni doesn’t know how to manage a football game, and that Eagles offensive line? They’ve regressed.

Eagles-Bears Pick Of the Day: Saquon Barkley Higher Than 77.5 Rushing Yards
If the Eagles want to right the ship – and trust me, they NEED this game with Dallas breathing down their necks in the NFC East – they’re gonna have to ride Barkley. Feed him early, feed him often, feed him in the red zone.
This is a perfect storm for Saquon to have another MONSTER day. We haven’t seen many of those this year, but all the ingredients are here. Vulnerable defense, missing key players, poor gap integrity, and an Eagles team that’s desperate to get back on track.
