Kansas City Chiefs vs Dallas Cowboys Predictions – Thursday, Nov. 27
The Kansas City Chiefs limp in at 6-5, somehow still terrifying with Mahomes under center but absolutely not the juggernaut we’re used to. The Dallas Cowboys are 5-5-1, fresh off a franchise-record comeback against Philly and quietly turning into everyone’s “no one wants to play them in January” team again.
This isn’t the 2018–2022 “close your eyes and lay it with KC” version anymore.
Kansas City is:
- 6-5 overall
- 1-4 on the road
The Chiefs just stole one from the Colts, 23–20 in overtime at HOME. They trailed by 11 in the fourth quarter and needed peak Mahomes magic to avoid dropping to .500. It was the biggest fourth-quarter comeback of his career, but it also underlined the problem: this team is living on a razor’s edge every week.
The arm talent is still there. The decision-making is cleaner than it’s been all decade with only 7 picks through 12 games. But the supporting cast isn’t bailing him out anymore.
- Travis Kelce is still the chain-mover and mismatch nightmare, but he’s not bailing them out every drive.
- Rashee Rice has emerged as the most reliable wideout.
- Xavier Worthy gives them juice over the top.
- Kareem Hunt just ran for 100+ on a legit Colts front (457 yards, 4 TD on the season) and gives Andy Reid a real between-the-tackles presence.
The quiet story: this Chiefs team actually leans on defense and situational offense now. They’ve held teams to 21.4 points per game and are top-10 in scoring defense. But on the ROAD? Totally different profile. That 1-4 away mark is not noise.
Down 21-0 to the Eagles, at home, in front of America, the Cowboys could’ve folded last week. Instead, they outscored Philly 24-0 the rest of the way and pulled off the largest comeback in franchise history. Dak Prescott went full alpha: threading throws into tight windows, extending plays, and punching in key scores with his legs.
George Pickens has been the trade of the year. He’s over 1,000 receiving yards already (1,054 to be exact), second in the league in yardage, and just cooked Philly for 9 grabs, 146 yards, and a touchdown.
Chiefs vs Cowboys Props and Picks Today
There are plenty of Kansas City vs Dallas player props to choose from on Underdog for Thursday. Let’s dive into the Cowboys vs Chiefs predictions!
Jake Ferguson Player Props – Higher Than 8.55 Fantasy Points
Kansas City plays some of the highest two-deep safety coverage schemes in the league. That could take away Pickens and the deep ball, and with more eyeballs on CeeDee Lamb, Thursday’s game is screaming dink-and-dunk to Ferguson over the middle.
Rashee Rice Higher Than 15.15 Fantasy Points
On the flip side, Dallas has been playing a ton of soft zone. They’ve ramped up the man coverage lately, but they should really be trying to jam Rice at the line of scrimmage as much as possible. Rice has a very low aDOT, and they love just throwing him the ball around the line for him to try and pick up yards after the catch.
