Best NBA DFS Picks Today & NBA Fantasy Basketball Advice – Wednesday, 11/26
Who’s going to smash tonight? We’ll dive into our favorite NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, November 26. There could be a ton of news that breaks later, but we’ll check out the best early NBA fantasy plays on the board.
NBA Fantasy Expert Pick Today – Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram
The Raptors will be without RJ Barrett for at least a week, and we saw Ingram go nuts without him a few days ago.
Ingram took 30 shots and posted a whopping 39% usage rate against Cleveland. Those are big boy numbers. Barnes was underwhelming, with just a 20% usage rate–but he still posted mid-40s DKP.
When you look at the season-long data without Barrett on the court, Barnes still owns a team-high usage bump of 5% and an overall 28% usage rate without RJ. Across nearly 170 minutes, he averages 53 DKP per 36 minutes.
I think there is a serious chance Barnes bounces back in a big way after a fairly average game. Indy ranks 21st in defensive efficiency and is top 10 in pace.
I also think there is a world where both Ingram and Barnes get there in a game stack despite their upper-mid-tier prices; we know where the volume and minutes are going. I’ll be having exposure to both in my multi-build.
NBA DFS Pick Today – Bennedict Mathruin
Give me Benny as a GPP run-back for these Raptors after a total clunker against Detroit. The Pacers were blown out, so I’m not worried about his lack of minutes. Mathurin came back from an injury and didn’t waste much time ramping up.
He’s. projected for mid-30s minutes tonight with a ceiling to push 38 if he’s hot and the game is close. We saw Mathruin pop for 46 DKP vs Charlotte in 34 minutes. He then posted nearly a fantasy point per minute in 37 minutes against a tough Cleveland defense before the Detroit blowout.
Simply, while Toronto is a top 10 defensively efficient team this year (per Hollinger), Detroit and Cleveland rank fourth and sixth, respectively, so Benny has had some tough draws.
The minutes are there, and if you’re playing some Raptors and need this game to stay close, you want the microwave on the other side–Mathurin.
He’s a GPP play; I wouldn’t play him in cash games.
