Lakers vs Spurs Prediction Today – Wednesday, November 5th
The San Antonio Spurs continue to deal with a plethora of injuries. De’Aaron Fox, Luke Kornet, and Dylan Harper have already been ruled out tonight. Harrison Ingram, Riley Minix, Kelly Olynyk, Jeremy Sochan, and Lindy Waters are all questionable.
The Los Angeles Lakers aren’t dealing with injuries as bad as San Antonio, but they’ll be without LeBron James and Gabe Vincent tonight. Austin Reaves is the big question mark, as this offense will change quite a bit if he can’t suit up.

Spurs Prediction and Preview
This is an offense that runs through Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle, though. They’ll be the two focal points, while Devin Vassell will be locked into a major role as well. Harrison Barnes, Julian Champagnie, and Keldon Johnson are other options who will find minutes in this offense.
The rest of the rotation is a bit dependent on who’s healthy.
Lakers Prediction and Preview
Luka Doncic will be the focal point while on the floor, with Reaves playing as the secondary option. They stagger minutes, and those are the two clear leaders of the offense.
Rui Hachimura and Deandre Ayton will also be locked into major minutes. Marcus Smart, Jake LaRavia, and Jarred Vanderbilt are other options who will find minutes, but they have smaller roles overall.

Castle continues to show promise as an elite young player for the San Antonio Spurs. He’s averaging 5.3 assists on 11.5 potential assists per game this season. He’ll take on a larger ball-handling role with Dylan Harper injured, though.
The young point guard gets an elite matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. They’re giving up the fifth-most assists (9.9) per game to opposing point guards, and Castle makes an outstanding option tonight.
Devin Vassell Player Props – Higher Than 16.5 Points
Vassell’s seen mixed results for the San Antonio Spurs this season. He’s averaging 14.7 points on 13.3 FGA, 8.0 3PA, and 1.3 FTA in 34.2 minutes per game. He’ll take on a slightly larger role without Dylan Harper.
The Los Angeles Lakers are also giving up the fifth-most points (24.0) per game to opposing shooting guards.
Luka Doncic Player Props – Higher Than 51.5 PRA
Doncic is in the midst of an incredible season for the Los Angeles Lakers. He’s averaging 41.3 points on 24.8 FGA, 12.0 3PA, and 13.5 FTA in 38.3 minutes per game. He’s also averaging 11.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists on 29.3 rebound chances and potential assists per game.
The star gets a tough matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, but I’m not sure it matters. He’s scored 40+ points in 3 of his 4 games this season, and he’s an elite option, regardless of the matchup.
