If you’re not familiar with this kind of play, a ladder bet is essentially betting on a prop at multiple lines with the odds getting progressively larger the further up the ladder you go.
Don’t Look Down – NFL Week 8 TNF Ladder Bet
We’ve done the research for you here and below we’ll dive into all of the rationale for our best NFL ladder bets for Week 8.
Aaron Jones Rushing Yards Ladder
Jones has seen mixed results because of injuries throughout the 2024 season. He’s posted 443 yards and 2 touchdowns on 85 carries. He also recorded 93+ yards in each of his four games with 10+ carries.
Jones looked healthy in his last game against the Detroit Lions, posting 93 yards and 1 touchdown on 14 carries. He also saw 19 and 22 carries before getting injured against the New York Jets in Week 5. He’s in a spot where he could find 20+ carries once again.
Jones gets a plus matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. They’re allowing the fifth-most rushing yards (121.0) per game to opposing running backs. Oddly enough, they’re only allowing 4.5 yards per carry, though.
Teams are running at one of the highest rates in the NFL against Los Angeles. They’re allowing the third-most rush attempts (26.7) per game to running backs. That could be the case again this week, and the Minnesota Vikings are currently small favorites in this game.
I expect the Vikings to throw the ball early in this game, and they should find plenty of success. Jones should find more of his success later once Minnesota’s already opened up the field. Keep in mind, he comes with the ability to take any touch for a big gain, so he could find success early as well.
The Vikings should have the edge in the run game here, and Jones is enjoying an outstanding season. He’ll have a chance to continue that in a plus matchup tonight.
What to Bet: Aaron Jones 70+ through 120+ rushing yards
